Yeah its doesnt surprise me with the 3DS out now. I picked up a silver DS lite from Target a few weeks ago for $90 but the other colors will still at the regular price. Well if you have an GBA games that you still enjoy playing better grab a DS lite quick if you dont have a GBA or the Gameboy Player and a Gamecube.

That's true nintendo seems to want to kill the ds even the new mario&sonic at the olympics game is only on 3ds and wii doesn't bother me if they cut off support as I got my 3ds at launch.

Yep same here I just use it for games like Super Mario Land 2 and Links Awakening. For GBA games I use my Original DS.
Just a quick question though is the contrast and such better on the DS Lite than the Original DS? I have an original DS that I use for DS games and GBA games but with the DS lite being so cheap now I am thinking of picking one up and trading in my Original DS.

Well, yes. The DS Lite is much more portable, has a much brighter screen, and louder speakers. Plus, it's shiny. :3

There is a noticeable difference in color when using anything newer than the original DS. The colours are drawn in lighter shades.
People are surprised at this? DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS? How long was Nintendo going to carry 4 portable DS systems? I don't however think this means N is dropping the DSi for the 3DS, I just don't understand why anybody in their right mind would buy a DS Lite for almost the same money as a DSi? I bought a white DSi at Target for $129 on Tuesday and it included a free Sonic Colors game, which promptly was returned for $25 hence a $110 DSi.
