Spyro Shadow Legacy. A boring RPG with little going for it. The only true 3D graphics are during the boss battles, and Spyro says nothing but "uh huh". You also have to be walking into a door in order to open it.
Brain Age. The game is annoyingly repetitive, and some games don't read my writing properly. I used to write a 4 like you see it typed, but I had to change it to the box style to avoid it being like a 9 or a 0. The most annoying thing is the word memory, where for some reason no mater how hard I try I can't write a recognizable K. It seems to think I either write M or R. I discovered a "way" to write K. You write ( and then |, quickly. That's annoying!
Pokemon Diamond. I got this hoping that it'd have improvements over the previous, particularly graphics. Turns out it's the same game as all the other generations. Sixteen bit graphics, same overhead view, same battles, same everything. I'm not getting Platinum. I may even sell Gale of Darkness. I'm so sick of Pokemon right now.
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time- poor graphics and boring gameplay
Kirby Squeak Squad- poor graphics, useless mixer
Wario: Master of Disguse- gets boring really quickly.
There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
Drawn to Life and New Super Mario Bros. I agree that NSMB is a pretty good game, but it is really overrated, and it just wasn't worth $35. Drawn to Life didn't have near as much creativity as I thought it would.
I almost bought Tetris DS used online, but then I found Tetris Worlds significantly cheaper. Good move.
I love NSMB. It has the nostalgia of all Mario sidescrollers wrapped into one, with many added fun features. Plus, you can go back to levels you've already beaten. The minigames are a plus.

I bought that Teenage Zombies game from Wal-Mart... there's a reason it was only $10. D:
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Wario Ware Touched: The grouping by input type made the game feel really repetitive and limited. Pac Pix: I was coming home from a gaming convention and spotted it for 20€ so I grabbed it, wasn't terribly interesting though. Mr. Driller: Not really my kind of game. I kinda enjoyed Dhristone mode but it just never clicked with me. Lost Magic: I liked the idea of an RTS but this wasn't so much fun. Contact: Just couldn't get into it. XG Blast: Kinda weak compared to Geometry Wars. Call of Duty 4: Repetitive headshot whack-a-mole gameplay combined with a story told only through voice acting on a system that's usually played muted... SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters: Plays like a dumbed down version of Magic but at least it was dirt cheap. Mario Kart DS: I should have learned my lesson with Double Dash. I didn't. (I hate blue shells) Yoshi's Island 2: Should've gone with my memory of how disappointed I was with YI back on the SNES... Advance Wars Dual Strike: Another case of not learning from games I didn't like before. Guilty Gear Dust Strikers: Not really sure but I recall it being pretty confusing. Viewtiful Joe: Too damn easy! This is supposed to be a sequel to one of the hardest games on the GC? You can just wipe everything out without even bothering to learn patterns!
I was also pretty disappointed with Crazy Machines DS since the levels were so damn easy they removed the whole point of the game: Thinking!
Most of my DS are awesome beyond believe, but some aren´t:
Polarium - I tought this would be some nice and clever stylus use. But then I remembered how much I hated this kind of puzzles on some of the Zelda games and how much the game just looks like a simple (and free) flash game.
Nanostray - Too short, too simple and very bad (weapon switching) controlls. Yes, the 3D graphics are very good, but that could not save the game for me.
Panzer Tactics DS - I did something I shoud not have done : compare it to the great Panzer General 1 & 2 for the PC. I finished all campains but stopped midway in the american and sold it again for a good price. The felt to "flat, simple and hystorical uncorrect" to me. But now I think I just wanted to much. After almost an year, no other wellmade WW2 turnbased game appeared for the DS and now I kind of want this one back.
I was really dissatisfied with HOTEL DUSK... I liked it in the beginning but if you don't do just one thing right your game either ends or you get stuck in a time freeze and the game gets repetitive... So yeah, this one sucks. I did like how innovative it was, though.

I avoisded that right from the start because Iridion 2 was crap.
ATV Quad Frenzy- I got this game for free with my DS Lite at Toys R US and payed exactly zero dollars. That said, it has probably lessened the quality of my life...and I would rather have no freebie at all than have ATV Quad Frenzy.
