Hey everybody, the "DS Downlad and Play" feature on my DS Lite isn't working and I'm not sure why. I'm no beginner when it comes to DS, however I've never encountered this issue before. When I select "DS Download and Play" from the main menu of my DS, it brings up the normal screen except it doesn't say "Look for software available for download..." like it used to. It shows a quit button at the bottom (which doesn't work, I tried) but that's all. In addition to this, my DS won't host a game either, nor will it let me use pictochat. It's as though my DS has been cut off from all other DS communications. If anybody has any trouble shooting or helpful tips, please let me know.
It's difficult to say from just the information you have provided. Has your DS experienced a shock, for example from being dropped, prior to the issues developing? It could be that the WiFi antenna module is loose and not fully connected to the motherboard, in which case you would need to disassemble the unit and reconnect the module.
You might consider that to be a bit too much trouble to go through however.
@TrubbishForMayor It would be worth trying if it could fix it. It's my little brothers DS so I'm not sure if he dropped it but if he did he didn't tell me. What other info can I provide?
