This what Ign.com claimed when searching for info from GDC 2010,infomation from 3rd party developers. The developers in question said there games will be ready by lare 2010. The power is between the gamecube and the wii,and the dual screen can be used as one large screen,also motion control like ipod. Any one for mario galaxy or zelda windwaker?

Just like a new nintendo home console, I'd be concerned about whether the system is backwards compatible, because I don't have the room for another console. (And I'll be able to sell the old one for a little monetary relief.)
thanks for that, terra. i'd be wondering how it'd handle games made for the DS/i that leave space for the gap between the screens; would it display those games with a black bar in between because the screens are so much closer together?

sounds good... but really what gets me more excited about this is if this is true, and there really is a TRUE DS successor (instead of just another "DS... and a little more!") at it really has GC level graphics... that means a Wii successor is going to launch at a similar time, no doubt, and have far superior graphics. because while the Wii is more powerful than GC, they are close, and Ninty wouldn't have a handheld out with near equal power to its home console. ESPECIALLY if the hanheld shares the same hook (motion control). that would give people next to no reason to buy the Wii. so if this is true, i fully expect a new home console with HD graphics and a new (awesome) way to revolutionize gaming.

In the Americas, the DS phat came out in 2004, while the Wii came out in 2006. You'll probably have to wait a while longer.
