What do you guys want? I have this crazy idea that Ive never heard mentioned ANYWHERE! Imagine a handheld that gets the dual analog done right with Gamecube graphics, and launching with Mario Sunshine 2. That would be awesome. Im thinking this might be a option, everyone is expecting a upgraded DS and Im thinking Nintendo is going to go outside the box with the new system. Portable Unrestricted 3D Gaming, heck that would even draw the likes of FPS fans. Id love to have some portable FPS that actually play right and unrestriced. What do you guys think?

would love for these 3 things to be included in the next Nintendo handheld 1. access to online leader board for every game 2. enough power to play videos 3. virtual console anything less and im sure i wont bite........ @ slapshot seems kinda early for a hype thrend, but any how
Yeah! I can't wait for Dead Space 2! It's gonna be awesome!
Oh wait, you mean the next Gameboy? Pfft, if it doesn't have a portable VC with some good support from third parties such as Square-Enix or Konami, I'm not even gonna bother with it.
Proper analog stick controls on a handheld could end up pretty unwieldy though. Lots of moving parts that could break easily, and it adds extra size.
Apparently the DS2 dev kits feature motion sensing. I think this could be a really bad move. Imagine trying to play a motion-sensitive game on the bus or the train! Even in bed it would be annoying. :/

I wonder what gimmick they will use for the DS2, like the camera with the DSi. Either way if it has the same capabilities of the DSi and a VC, I may have to sell my DSi and Lite. How about using your DS as a cell-phone, it's a ridiculous request, but I'd love to see it
Judge games by what they have and not what they could have had Wii Number: 3670 7978 6538 8640 PSN ID ~ chadthegamer Currently Awaiting: Skyward Sword, Dead Space 2, 3DS, Kirby, Vanquish, AC2 Brotherhood, DK
@HolyM.... actually if it was small joysticks on both sides of the screen on the botton, the top screen to have holes on the sides of the top screen so when the console closed the joysticks to just go into the top screen. It could work. Motion control is cool, but the Wii and PS3 have shown that they work great for SOME games and not all. I think a dual analog system would be insanely great. Achievments would also be great and a VC is a MUST!

Im going to second that! The DS has been such a staple in keeping my Nintendo passion alive and kicking over the last few years. I love the touch based controls way better than motion controls, and some of the import games I own are amazing and stand so high in my large catalogue of games its unreal. The DS is an amazing machine indeed.

@abgar: Oh yeah, forgot about WW: Twisted. I never had it. :/ But as long as they don't try to cram motion sensing into every single game (like they did with the touch-screen and early DS releases) then it would be fine.
@slapshot82: It'd be a squeeze! But it may be possible... Though wouldn't it end up like the PSP's thumb pad thing? I tried a friend's and I found it a bit annoying to use personally. Could just be the placement of the thing on the hardware though.
All I want is it for to be twice as powerful, twice as awesome, and twice half the price.
LOL too true my man, made me laugh out loud on that one.
@HM.... oh yeah it was just a idea lol. The PSP is a great handheld and the flippin analog nub has been a annoyance since its first batch of games, it has gotten better but its still an annoyance. Basically its the same with the N64, One analog just isnt good enough. It restricts the gameplay styles and get it to that "almost" great 3D games (with exception to Mario 64). Two is just the way to go.
