I'll certainly be entering before the time closes. I have a couple game ideas I've been saving for this, once I feel that I've sufficiently honed to my skills to pull one of them off.
Twitter is a good place to throw your nonsense. Wii FC: 8378 9716 1696 8633 || "How can mushrooms give you extra life? Get the green ones." -
@Kid_A: Theres a banner on the site just click that (Should be on top by your name). That should tell you what you need to know. Actually look up at the top of this page.
I can't see the ads anyway, because I use AdBlock.
If you've got a good microgame concept, there's a separate field where you can explain it in a form and submit it. Just head on over to www.wariowarediy.com and click the image at the bottom of the home page that says "The Warios". There's one field for designating an entry you submitted via the DS game and another for you to punch in a description of your game and attach an image for your concept sketch. If you'd rather get the game first, though, you've still got until May 16 to send it in. No rush right now.
You must be 17 or older to attend. I dunno if this contest will make an exception.
EDIT: Here are the conditions for the age:
If the prize is won by a minor, the prize will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian on the minor’s behalf. Limit one prize per household or address
...The Grand Prize Winner's guest must be either (i) at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority under applicable law) prior to commencing the trip unless the Grand Prize Winner is the parent or legal guardian of the guest or (ii) the parent or legal guardian of the Grand Prize Winner if the Grand Prize Winner is a minor...
Remember that the E3 contest spans the machine theme plus the next two theme contests. If you want to officially enter the machine theme contest, the deadline is this week. The other two themes I'm guessing are the next consecutive contests, sports and creatures.
I'll probably wait until the last minute to enter this. I need to take my time to fully learn D.I.Y.
Also, you guys know that this contest doesn't give you full access to E3, right? It only gives you access to Nintendo's press conference in LA. Which is more than enough for me.
