Can DSiWare be used on more than one DSi?? I have a DSi & DSiXL. I have quit buying DSi Ware cause I hate to pay twice to play them on either system. No one else plays them but me. I bought the DSi cause I thought it would be great. to a point it is but not as great as I expected. I hate to try to chose which one I think I would play the game on more. ANyone know if I can DL it to both?? Thanks in advance

Answer: unfortunately, no.

Possible solution: Use regular DSi for DSiware, sort of an on the go system. Use XL for home use, mostly playing normal DS games.

Also, question: Why do you have both? I'm good with only one, is it some sort of back-up system? In case one dies on a roadtrip or something? I don't understand...

I bought the DSiXl for the bigger screen, but I am not happy with it. It is heavier than the DSi & all they did was make the pixels BIGGER not ad more. So you get a crisper picture on the DSi. So if it is a crisper picture I need it goes on the DSi. If its bigger picture then I use the DSIXL. I didnt get rid of the DSi cause I have games on it that cant be transferred so I would lose them all. I hate that we cant put them on a SD card. So I hardly download anything now. Why waste money if you lose it if the system breaks. Thanks for the info. I didnt think I could put it on both. But thought maybe someone figured a way. Thanks again

You can put DSiware games on an SD card, just go to system settings and data management, then when you touch a game, it'll give you two options, copy or delete. Personally, I would sell the XL and just keep the DSi and swallow my losses. Hope this helped.

that only allows you to back up your DSiWare for that system. you still can't transfer it to a different one.

bottom line, the answer is no, not unless you download the same game on both systems. even then, save information is locked to the game file on the DSi, so you won't be able to copy any save data over at all.
