Topic: Anyone picked up Fossil Fighters yet?

We just got in the review copy of Fossil Fighters today and I was curious. I believe it came out today, or was supposed to anyway. If you've got it, how did you like it?

I don't think it will be THAT bad, I'm expecting about a score of 7 from it. Only time will tell though. And hey ZERO, Starfy had a commercial and it wasn't terrible.

@Corbie Was your review copy in a fake rock?
I downloaded the demo and felt cheated and unfulfilled by it. It didn't exactly convince me to pick up the game on day one.

Am I the only one who thinks this game is eerily similar to pokemon? Seriously, the music, the story, the concept. It all just screams pokemon to me.

I think this game is also allot like Spectrobes.

Looks kinda cool. I'll be waiting for reviews before I consider spending any money on it, though.

I don't get why people are hating a game before it even comes out. Unless everyone is joking

@lz2009 I don't hate it. But if the demo was any indication, it's not a fantastic game.

I didn't even want it in the first place.

It doesn't appeal to me, but I'm open to it if it has good reviews...but I haven't played the demo yet so that might change my mind as well.

I popped this into my DSi earlier in between reviews and what started out as a quick 5 minute trial turned into an hour and a half. This game is actually really cool.

I picked the game up yesterday, and from what I've played so far, this is one of my favorite portable games so far this year. The game has so much charm and it's just so much fun finding and cleaning fossils. Above all though, the turn-based battles really add a lot of replay to the game.

Looks a lot like dinosaur King. And I hateed that game.

I can't seem to find the game anywhere, I guess it's late in Canada or something.

I got it today and it is a great game it is definaly in my top 5 DS games for this year.

Roar, review this weekend? It's looking cooler and cooler the more I research it.
