I noticed it. It's a little sad, considering most gamers may not notice new games like CJS and instead waste their points on crap, but considering I'll still buy stuff even if it isn't on the front page it's not worth losing sleep over it.
I keep getting Flight Control, Uno, Scrabble and Link 'n' Launch. Maybe it judges based upon your purchase history as to what games it "recommends"?
I think it would be better if the put up the newest ones first too. That's the best way to sell them, since the "Recent Titles" option is hidden away pretty well.
dont you americans have the new section on the front page? here in europe we have a little space if we touch it it opens a news screen were we can read news about the dsi for example it noticed us about the dsi facebook option an there are all releases for example releases of the 12.03 nd there are all games released on this day with infos of pricing and who made it

I'm pretty sure that is a factor. How much your list will actually differ can depend on how much other stuff you've already downloaded (nothing you already have will appear, of course, and more purchases would equal better idea what you like), too. It will sometimes put more recent games up there, but that's probably mostly because it thinks you'll like them.
My current list:
Glow Artisan
Aura-Aura Climber
Flight Control Faceez
Hmm...at least three of us with that one list. Interesting...
I suspect some companies could be paying a small fee to remain on the front page. I can't help but notice that certain games from this list are appearing on other people's lists as well.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
Stuffgamer - Your theory seems logical. Considering all of the money Gamelion and Neko Entertainment are (supposedly) making with their games, Flight Control's wild sucess on the App store, and probably Powerhead Games's (probably) dissapointing Glow Artisan sales, it wouldn't surprise me if those companies are paying Nintendo to try to make some more dough.
