FATEM - Thanks. After much fiddling about copying and pasting the right bit from your link, I was finally able to get to your Flipnote site. (Then I couldn't remember my password. Grrr). However, I was able to get your code and find your flips through my DS. The code you gave me is completely different from the one I pulled up: X, L, X, Y, Left arrow, Y, X, R, Right arrow, R I wonder why that is? Edited:: Oh wait, that must just be the code for the flip. ... anyway. I found ya
Brandon - Have you uploaded any of your Art Academy pictures to your computer? And have you uploaded your Flipnotes to the website? (Once again I wish this silly site let us send personal messages so I could give this info without boring the rest of the forum.)
Yes, I never wrote down the code, but you can search for Ralph: Neighborly, Ralph: Trouble at Work, and...I forget the name of the last Ralph one. There is also one called Dragon Knight. For the Ralph stuff, you can view them on YouTube (a bit blurry) under Ralph the Pizza Dog.

It should appear in the quote above now.
Anyway, I consider myself decent at both Flipnote and Art Acadamy, although I find myself lacking in the imagination department.
I've not had time for much this week so I've been playing around with paints and experimenting the different brushes. These are a few of my practices paintings. The first one is a folly called "Old John" in Bradgate Park, Leicestershire. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/VATalbot/DSi/Artlessons2... http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/VATalbot/DSi/Artlessons2Jan09001.jpg
Wow, a lot of these pics are really good guys! You've inspired me to buy Art Academy when my DSi arrives in the mail Monday.
Is there a great difference between first semester or second?
There's no difference in the paint mode between the two.
Semester 1 has two tutorials and four lessons (and three mini lessons). Semester 2 has only four lessons (and four mini lessons I think) and it assumes you already know the basics.
If you're only going to get one, definitely get the first semester as it will walk you through how to use the program and teach you a few things about how to sketch and paint.
I'm afraid to buy Art Academy. You guys can make some amazing work.I'm afraid I'll buy it and won't be able to draw.Could any of you draw good before buying this?
Souls are for the weak. I flow with the darkness on the pathway of depression.
