Topic: Any place to find a good replacement original DS battery anymore?

I have an original DS, and it's battery barely lasts an hour anymore. I can't seen to find replacements anywhere online, all of them are either for the DSLite, or DSi, which have very different batteries. There are a few really random ones.... mostly shipping from China or Hong Kong.... that seem really sketchy on eBay, but nothing that seems like it would last more than 6 months or not explode.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a decent replacement battery for the original DS?

Well...
If you don't mind, you can upgrade your old NDS with New 3DS XL / New 2DS XL for bigger screen, louder sounds and Backward compatibility (play 3DS & NDS).
Looking for Original NDS Battery right now is Nearly impossible.

@Anti-Matter That's a pretty good idea but by upgrading from an original DS they would lose the ability to play GBA games.

@Cyber_Akuma Have you tried contacting Nintendo? They might know of a way you can get one if they can't get one themselves.

Ah... well, yes.
I forgot the consequences.
I haven't asked him if he still play GBA games or not.

I have two 3DS systems (original and N3DS), but I don't want to play DS games on them for the same reason I don't like to play GBA games on my DS, screen-crunch and the controls would feel off with the different button placements.

Nintendo's own store only lists DSLite batteries, not original DS or even GBA

Playing NDS games on New 3DS XL is really fascinating experience.
I got Bigger screen as big as NDSi XL, Louder sounds than being played on NDS Lite / Old 3DS Model, Economic Value as 3DS can play Both 3DS & NDS = Larger library games.
Very satisfying.

I don't have any XL systems, never cared for them, since the visuals in the games were never originally meant for a XL screen so they always looked worse to me.

I am just trying to get my original DS ruining again, it feels like you are trying to act like a salesmen for the 3DS, as I said, I already have two, neither of them are XL models and I don't like playing even DS games on them due to the screen crunch.

@Cyber_Akuma Email/phone your local Nintendo team. You can't buy batteries for the N3DS from the store where I am, but you can still buy them if you contact Nintendo directly, for example.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@Cyber_Akuma You might have to contact them directly rather then just looking on their site. Sometimes places like that will sell them still but don't have them listed on their site for some odd reason.
