the hinge on my ds broke so that might have affected going to other peoples towns over wi-fi.... so i can invite guests but some cant...... hmmmmm i'm getting a dsi soon so i'll see into it......
i researched a bit and found out that the wifi chip iz right below the right hinge which iz the hinge that snapped... or broke.... so that would be the case.....
