Ok, i have a few questions about this game... 1. What kind of game is it exactly? 2. how good is the combat, i heard it wasnt that great, but im wondering how bad it is. 3. are the dsi features good?
It's a fun game that makes good use of the source material. It's a platform game where you use the special powers of your characters to explore the environment and solve puzzles.
The combat sequences can get repetitive but that doesn't distract from the core explore and solve puzzle nature of the gameplay. It is not a difficult game largely because you cannot die.
The main problem you'll encounter is working out where to go as it is not always clearly signposted to the player what needs to happen next. As you progress backtracking is cut to a minimum as you will be able to manipulate parts of the jigsaw map to create shortcuts. Thankfully Disney has a very clear walkthrough guide on their website to point players in the right direction!
It's worth a rental at least. There is some scope for replay value but the unlockables you get from collecting hidden treasures are just artwork rather than new modes / stages etc.
