I got my first one in a sale at Toys R Us and bought the 2nd one on vacation (both in 2007.) Then I bought T&T and AJ the day they came out.

The reason that its so expensive is that it had a very small initial print. Due to demand, CAPCOM made more, but its still a fairlyrare game to find, if only because most owners are msart enough to keep their copy.

that's pretty weird, O_B, considering I could probably walk into the GameStop near where I live and find a copy for $5 (or whatever it was i saw it priced at last; maybe it was $9?). There was an absolute glut of PW games available for a long time because people apparently did not see the replay value and traded it in after finishing it. people trying to sell it for $90-something (yeah, i saw that crazy Amazon price too) when it can be found on eBay for less than half that price are either nuts or hoping to bag some uninformed collector with more money than they know what to do with. :/

Sorry, I meant to say its rare to find NEW in stores. Used copies at places like GS are (just as you said) quite common. Wonder if JayArr looked there. It would be the safest bet, since No.1 is ~$10 used and No.2 is $~12-15 used.

considering how (a) it's a cartridge, not an easily-scratchable CD, and (b) the big price difference between used and new, because this game is not worth all that much used, the only thing i'd really mourn about a used copy would be the lack of instruction booklet, if it didn't have one. :3

I have 5 GameSpots and quite a few other video game specialty stores in my city. I also called all the Wal-Marts, Meijer's, K-Marts, Block-Busters...ect.
I called probably over 15 places! Nothing.
I tried. I feel happy with my purchase though. Original case w/ manual are a must for me. I keep all my games.
I have finished Apollo Justice: it's a really bright game. I'm planning to buy all the episodes, but they still cost the full price. I'd like to take some special offer.
But the next episode, due to release in November in Europe, probably will be mine for Xmas
@Metroid Italia-What episode is coming out in Europe? Because its not Ace Attorney Investigations. No one gets that until 2010 (except Japan of course.)

I have played the 2d and 3d and I loved them! I want to play the new one with edgeworth but the lack of courtrooms (the best part of the games) turns me off
Glad you like AA so far, JayArr. I'm currently replaying Trials and Tribulations (the 3rd game), followed by AJ:AA over the rest of the year in order to be ready for the January release of Investigations.

I just finished the first game. This game was ****ing amazing!!
I know they probably aren't for everybody but this was right up my alley. So glad I finally got around to getting it. Now I just have go on a mad dash to try to hunt down Justice For All.
I hope you find it. If eBay is an option for you, defintitely try it. It's worked great with me and you can find JFA for around $10.

@JayArr-Nice find there! I personally enjoyed T&T far more than JFA, which I wasn't as pleased with the main story.
