Greetings fellow Nintendo Life users!

We've made some changes to the username system over the past week, we've simplified the format; now each username has to be between 3 and 20 characters in length and may only contain A-z, 0-9, underscores and dashes (think Twitter style). This change is to pave the way for some other changes we're making behind the scenes, it also allows for @username style replies in comments.

If your existing username didn't conform to this new format you'll notice that we've automatically updated it for you, but don't worry if you decide you want to change it.

Finally we've added the ability for you to change your own username (without having to ask us). You can change your username via the "Edit Profile" area, however beware - you can only change your username once per 90 days.

If anyone has any issues with their username, or needs help changing it please contact us and we'll be happy to help!

Just to head anything off, guys, please be aware that yes, the moderation team has access to a list of all username changes being made now, so we will know exactly who you are at all times. Any inappropriate username changes will be reverted on sight, and the user in question may be warned or banned accordingly. :3

I always just used the [ b ] tags for the @whoever: things... now I see it auto bolds it Dx
