In order to tidy up the boards a bit, we've launched a new forum dedicated to online gaming, aptly named Online Gaming. This forum is to be used for all of your matchmaking, Friend Code trading, tournament planning and anything and everything under the sun when it comes to setting up multiplayer matches.
It's filed under "Off Topic" and is thus not limited strictly to Nintendo systems; if you want to set up a Left 4 Dead or Uncharted 2 match, that's where you want to be.
You're allowed to post new threads so long as it obeys the following rules:
1. The game in question can't already have a thread. 2. The thread title follows the (region) Game Title naming convention, e.g. (NA) Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
If your thread doesn't adhere to these rules then we reserve the right to nuke it on site. Don't take it personal, it's just to keep things nice and streamlined.
are y'all planning to move existing threads over to the new area? some (like the animal crossing, MKW, and water warfare threads) are already pretty deep with FCs and match info.

Awesome. Is it alright if I make a Madden 09 EA ID friend list for the Wii ? Or do I need to let the people in charge do so ? I was bummed when I heard they were cancelling the online as it is not really that old of a game. Then they announced they meant to announce 08's version. If not I understand and thanks.

I'm with Mange, there really is no need for separate MKW threads. Just thinking about organizing a race between two threads is confusing. Can we please have one single thread for MKW, pleeeeease?

Just noticed this, excelent idea guys, I'd all but given up on online gaming because of the difficulty involved in arranging matches but this should help. Time to dust off those friend codes.
so, for example if i saw a Dj hero thread, but its for EU, can i do a thread but for NA user or should i post my friend code in the already existing thread?

I think a new thread makes sense, vakama94. Whilst we can appreciate that some people want to do worldwide match-ups the reason for the separate threads is because some folk only want local match-ups due to time zone differences and reduced possibility of network lag.
If there's enough people doing team-based matches worldwide for specific games like Mario Kart, then maybe a Mario Kart World League thread makes sense.

Id disagree,i play alot online especially reflex. If you get enough people or clans(Nintendo life or NOL tags)on your freinds list there is always someone to play.
