Good news everyone, you can now search the forums (finally) without having to use Google.
Whilst it will only search topics, you can search by keyword, select which forums to search, min/max number of replies, created by a specific author etc. If people also want a search by replies (posts) too then I will add that too.
You'll find a link at the top of the forums homepage or a shortcut link at the top of every forum.
@6ch6ris6 I doubt that we'll ever do personal/private messages, it would be easily open to abuse by spammers or trolls. If we did we would need to impose some pretty strict restrictions, maybe an opt-in feature or something like that.
I can die happy now! Thank you, Ant! Knew you could do it!
EDIT: And yes, someday having the ability to show posts instead of always just the threads would be great, but that can be down the road. I did a couple of searches playing with the options and it is miles better than before. I especially like that it doesn't search signatures like the other search does.

Something like that that would be good. Maybe just...having a setting that could turn it on and off, and have it off by default? Maybe have some post limit before the option becomes available and/or some PM send limits? No one says you have to go all out, I've been to plenty of places that have PM restrictions. Granted, they're places that are heavily prone to spambots, but still...
@Xiao_Pai yeah, most of them are old but seemed the right thing to do
I need to talk to des about auto-archiving...
I dunno if this from you adding the feature, but the bottom page seems to have a big blank space for me, nothing bad but figured I would point that out.
