I am wondering what people's worst Amiibo useage ideas are? Try to make them semi-realistic but I do want people to have fun with this.
My worst Amiibo Useage Idea would be a RPG where you can only level up by Scanning different Amiibo figures. Scan a Mario Amiibo go up a Level. Scan a Marth Amiibo go up a level. Without enough Amiibo you can't progress and without all Amiibo ever made you can't defeat the Final Boss... that would be terrible. Anyone else have an idea?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I think the worst usage of an amiibo is having them connected to your bank account and having to pay each time one is scanned. Or worse, just charged on a monthly subscription, whether you use it or not.
Maybe for a puzzle game have only one Amiibo be compatible with it. Then the only thing that Amiibo does is make a pixel version of the main character appear in each stage for you to find.
@Edwin So, you rather have them connected to your bank account, like @shaneoh suggested, than to add a minigame to an existing game by owning said amiibo ? You must be one rich dude then.
@Pokefraker First off, the game youre talking about is not a "Legend of Zelda" game. But ill gift you 5 bucks if you find the title on your box cover
Secondly, whats wrong about it ? Scanning Link for the first time, grants you a new weapon type and thus, an entirely new playstyle. Every other Amiibo simply acts as a daily raffle.
You can scan a certain amount of Amiibos daily to win random ingame prices, from weapons to random amounts of rupees. If you gain only one, tough luck on your part, try again tomorrow.
Back on topic: I almost expected such an idea come up with the Mario Party 10 Amiibo boards. I was just waiting on "touch the amiibo to the gamepad to take a step with your board piece" A nice idea on paper, but with a scan delay of about a second, rolling 4d10 could take an awfull lot of time
Im glad they didnt come up with that
