Seriously who out there is actually excited for the default Mii characters?
I feel like instead, they should have made a Mario Party / Super Mario series version of Waluigi, Daisy and Toadette instead since they don't have amiibos.
I agree with you. The Mii Amiibo probably won't be very popular as they just aren't people's favourites and they aren't anything special. People would have definitely preferred the other Super Mario amino which haven't been made. Toadette could also be used in Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, but they still haven't made it!
honestly, how hard would it be to have them special ordered? i mean obviously the games can model the miis correctly so why not the actual figures?
even if they cost around $30 per figure, i would still buy my custom Krystal Mii Amiibo.
Is this a joke? Are you having a chuckle? Haha, very funny. I'm the one with a degree

The problem is that they would probably cost more than $30, or at least significantly more than what the average consumer would be willing to pay, and distribution may also be an issue. Should Nintendo set up limited-time stalls/kiosks/Mii breeding machines, or should they opt for a strictly online-only approach?
The added expense of creating individualised amiibo and the possibility that they are unlikely to sell as well as regular amiibo may also be deterrents for launching such a service. Time will tell.
I'd probably go crazy and buy a personalised Mii amiibo for every Mii loaded into my Wii U and 3DS and that alone would cost a small fortune (if anything, I'm grateful that such a service is not available... yet). =P
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
Well how far do would they have to go with the custom amiibo? Do they just do the face? Or do they make it fully customisable so you can pick any of the outfits that are unlocked for your miis? The latter is certainly too troublesome to be a financially viable option. Forget $30, we;d be looking at $100+

They wouldn't do the costumes. Just the face and perhaps the body shape in the colour of the Mii's favourite colour.

Yeah I know, but you know what some people are like, if they were allowed to customise faces then they would complain about not being able to customise the body.
To complete the Smash Bros. line and because profits. I mean, these things are on the bottom of the wanted list for Amiibo, but will still make Nintendo money.
Customizers might be excited for the Mii pack. Besides, no one thought the Wii fit trainer would be on anyone's want list and she's one of the most expensive and difficult to find
It makes sense perfectly why they did it but they're unattractive and I liked that rumor that was going around better where people were saying maybe you can order your own Mii amiibo via Nintendo (somehow) that would cost more to have it personally designed of course, and have it have your face instead of the default one. I've not seen anyone even talk about these until now.
Because Nintendo knows that we're suckers and we'll buy any amiibo-related product they put out on the market.
But don't worry, I'm almost a hundred percent sure that more Mario series amiibo are yet to come. Now hop to it, Nintendo, so I can have my Waluigi and classic-outfit Wario amiibo!
To be honest, I never use my Mii in Smash... I'd rather use all of the characters except one before them. (I hate Peach, so she's the exception). I'm not interested in their Amiibos at all, I would much prefer more Mario characters, like Waluigi or Toadette. King Boo would be a Amiibo, too! And if you make Toadette, and already have Toad, might as well include Toadsworth!
