so apparently wii fit trainer is 'rare' yet on amazon its 11 pound, also ness is like 13 pound even though its 'rare' the smash version of mario is over 20 pound on amazon yet you can buy it brand new off the uk nintendo store for 11 pound, are people jumping the gun? Are people selling stuff at a price only justified by a discontinuation of the product even though the product is still being manufactured by nintendo?

The economy crashed a few months ago when the Japanese eBayers and restocks happened. None of them are crazy expensive anymore, at least in America.

As I suspected it would. They sold too well to not make more. I'm guessing that some of those prices are the hoarders trying to recuperate those loses. The only two holding "value" are the gold and silver Mario amiibo, which is due to them being a very limited run.

So the rest of the world finally caught up to Australia then. Was going to happen eventually, anyone who thought Nintendo was limiting supply deliberately was a fool. I hope the scalpers were dumb enough to "hold on" in the hopes that prices would keep going up.

Anybody paying more than the standard retail price is getting ripped off. In fact, many of them are available on sale in Australia, and practically all of them are readily available, except of course, for Gold and Silver Mario. >

Shovel Knight is also likely to be rare, owing to the fact that Yacht Club Games are responsible for manufacturing and distributing them (while Nintendo handles all other amiibo), and as a small company, cannot afford to produce too many of them at the risk of them not selling.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

@Sillygostly

In the US atleast Shovel Knight currently has better stock than anything from Wave 1.

Well it's already too late for me. I bought ones like Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac and Rosalina months ago, for way much more than the retail value. Rosalina was like 50$ on Amazon.

Oh well. Too late to worry about it now.

Edit: slightly off topic but the amibo designs for Wii Fit Trainer and Captain Falcon have very pronounced, detailed butts.
