Topic: Starting a collection

When the first wave went on the market, i've bought some, willing to start a collection... and i've unpacked them... i've bought 9... I've lost my job in January ( a month after the release) and found a new job last week. I've missed ALOT of them and i've decided to start a collection... again and packed. I would like to know a site where i can find some amiibo for a... not too expensive amount (i don't expect miracle tho).

I've, also, bought a Sonic amiibo but the package was fold (from a top corner to the seal, which have been peeled of abit). is it still a good collection material or is it ''worthless''?

Toys R Us has a pretty good selection in stores. Their online store isn't that great. Play-Asia is a decent place to get rare Amiibo, for a little extra. Shop around, see what you can find.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I would definitely try Toys R Us as DefHalan mentioned, but I seem to have some luck with Best Buy too. I found a MetaKnight there last week. Talking to the employees never hurts either. If you can figure out when they get stock in that helps too!

Avoid Wal-Mart, their stock is pitiful.

Game stop has been hit or miss for me.

I think the only ones you will find priced cheaper than the standard retail price is ones like Mario, Luigi, Peach and others that are common.

I couldn't comment on the packaging being folded effecting the value because I honestly open them right when I get them and throw the boxes in the garbage.

I would say the best two stores are Toys R Us and Best Buy. This comes from personal experience, but Walmart always has terrible stock, Target and Game Stop never seems to stock frequently and yeah just for emphasis Walmart is terrible when it comes to finding amiibo.

unless you want to keep it in the box for some reason, it doesn't matter

I occasionally find some decent amiibo at Best Buy, like Sonic, Mega Man, Toad, Silver Mario and Diddy Kong. Saw Wario at TrU last week.
