Topic: Nintendo Official UK store has cancelled my entire wave 4 order

After having various e-mails apologising for not delivering Lucina, Pac-Man, Wario, Charizard, Ness, and Robin, and then one saying they had a limit on how many Wario's they could sell me, I checked my account on the Nintendo Official UK store to find they'd cancelled my entire order today. Now admittedly I had ordered two of each figure the day the pre order was put up- one for myself and one for my nephew, but that was before they had placed the 'one per customer' tag on each figure. I'm not a scalper or someone who's trying to get rich off the situation, and if I don't get the amiibo myself I'll shrug it off, but now i's impossible to pre order these figures anywhere else and my Nephew will miss out. I've no idea if this is because I've ordered more than 1 of each, or if they've just cancelled everyone's order, and I'd be curious to see if other people have had the same thing happen. A delay would of kept me as a customer, but this has lost them all my money, and perhaps my custom in the future.

I've sent customer support a message, and will check back o say what they say. Please reply to say if you have an order with the UK store and if it's been cancelled as well.

They cancelled my Shulk not too long ago, and I've had a few emails about my Wave 4 preorders, but they haven't been cancelled yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed now...

Well after waiting three days, I have still had no reply to my e-mail from the Nintendo UK store. I've send another message saying how displeased I am in their customer service.

I'm unlikely to get anywhere, but I might as well try. Dubious about ordering off of there again.

Doesn't Gamestop/EB games have something in the UK?

Admittedly when I ordered the amiibo there wasn't this restriction in place, but I'm not complaining. Just happy to get the chance to get to order at least some of them for my nephew.

Still not impressed with their customer service though....

So Nintendo takes action to stop scalpers and people complain. People complain that scalpers buy out stuff in large quanities. Either you want them to do something or not but don't complain when they do.

No, I just think it's very wrong to cancel anyone's order without sending them an e-mail about it. I found out they'd cancelled my order by checking my account. I'm not a scalper ordering fifteen of each or whatever, I ordered 2 of each wave 4 figure (one for myself and one for my Nephew) a few hours BEFORE (I can't emphasise this enough) the put the one per customer limit on, then waited TWO MONTHS to cancel my order, at which point everywhere else was sold out so I couldn't just go to another shop. I don't mind playing by the rules, just not when someone the changes the rules during the game. And then to take so long to reply to me was bad business etiquette.

But at least now I can buy my Nephew a set of amiibos, I am happy. Just not with the Official Nintendo Store's customer service.

EB in the UK was taken over and rebranded by Game.

Gamestop looks to exist online never seen a store. (Maybe they have a few).

After all that, they re-released stock of Wario, Pacman, (which I bought) and the Mario Collection. So it wasn't a case of just not letting me have 2, they didn't even have enough stock to let me have one of the other 4. I think this stock shortage may rear it's ugly head again....

Robin became available to pre order last week on Wednesday so I pre ordered it & they cancelled it today but they have gave me £5 off my next purchase. Kinda knew they would cancel it though.
