With the shortages and discontinuation of especific amiibos do you think it could be a good idea if nintendo released a Mii Amiibo that could store data from any of the released characters? To make myself a bit more clear as my english is only good for reading. e.g, if I never find a WFT or Samus amiibo, I could use this "generic" amiibo to assume the characteristics of another released character or to store temporarily the data of another amiibo that is being used on another game with write function.

If Nintendo created a Mii amiibo it wouldn't work like that, it would instead store data for a Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter or Mii Gunner instead.

It was just an example as the Mii is your personal generic avatar and the perfect model for such idea.

the mii amiibo would be the character you make. why on earth would a mii be samus or marth? that makes as much sense as dk being diddy or yoshi being mario

3 Mii Amiibos should be released. 1 of Reggie (would be a Mii Brawler), 1 of Iwata (would be a Mii Swordfighter), and 1 of Miyamoto (would be a Mii Gunner). It would be awesome and I would want to own all 3 lol

No, not a good idea. Nintendo is not going to create a blank slate amiibo.

I would take a Miyamoto for sure, the other 2 could rot on the store shelves for all I care.

I doubt a mii amiibo would happen. On the off-chance that it does however, it would probably be 3 seperate amiibos with the generic fighter, gunner and swordsman miis that for example you get in Classic mode for playing as a mii.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

For backup as the amiibo can save data of only one game, this way you wouldn't need to buy 2 links if eventualy they relaease another game data also saves data on the amiibo.

There will probably be at least 2 Links. The one out now is for Smash Bros. There will probably be a separate Zelda Wii U line to go with the game when it is released.

I personally would not be interested in a Mii amiibo, but for those that are, maybe an online service could work somehow. You send a request to Nintendo. If it gets approved, they make it and send it to you for a cost. Of course, you would want to make sure that you are very happy about the way it looks.

Well I don't think these should be sold in Stores, maybe just through Nintendo. If they were sold in stores I feel it would have to be a triple pack for about $25-$30. That is just my opinion

Ubisoft had the custom Rabbids thing in Rabbids go home; this would obviously be pricier, but given you can create custom Mii Fighters it might be an interesting premium product.

I would buy a mii amiibo, rip it off its base, and replace it with a 3rd party figure of my choosing. That way, I can pretend I have an amiibo of a character that I wanted in smash. And then make a custom mii fighter of that character, stored in the nfc chip.

A Mii amiibo may not make sense, as the Mii characters are customizable. It's like amiiibo already.
However, I imagine IF a Mii amiibo does come out, then it would be exclusive to Nintendo; they would collect the facial data, mii type and favourite color of the mii, and send it to you for a higher-than-normal price.

God first.

If it's any constellation Miyamoto did talked about the possibility of amiibo in card form to be a cheaper and more convenient alternative to the figurine version. This would be handy if or when they discontinue some of them.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

I would be more likely to collect those cards as well. Figures take up to much space so I am just collecting my favorites. Cards I would probably collect them all

I think Nintendo should team up with one of those make your own figure companies to turn your mii into a figure to use with the customizations you put on it.

Has not been officially confirmed. Certain stores no longer carry it but Nintendo hasn't confirmed it has been discontinued.
