Topic: Guessing new Amiibos. Predictions.

I bet the Pikmin amiibo will replace an Olimar amiibo, and you level up the strength and number of your Pikmin in the game. Anyone agree?

Personally, I'd buy a Swordfighter amiibo. If it lets me turn Lonk from Pennsylvania into an amiibo, I'd do it. xD

I think that the picture with all the random Nintendo characters was just a picture of random Nintendo characters. It's not supposed to be a confirmation of anything.

TBH I could see them doing a small run of Mii Amiibos via Club Nintendo or something. Where you send in a Mii and they produce an Amiibo based on that or they create a limited run based on a pre-defined selection of characters. It could happen.

Also the people ruling out Amiibos because they aren't in Smash and so on. You realise that Amiibos are supposed to work across multiple games, multiple platforms and even multiple console generations right? At this point if you can think of an Amiibo I reckon there's a good chance that they'll probably do it at some point. Particularly if it's not incredibly obscure.

What's the point of an amiibo unless they unlock SOMETHING? I may want a Bayonetta amiibo, but is she going to be making her way into Cpt Toad, Kirby, Zelda or Animal Crossing? Unlikely. (although Cpt Toad dressed as Bayonetta would be a sight to see...)

Were better off having less amiibo on the market that do more per game. Does that mean I'm not obsessed to buy them all?

I'm thinking event Pikachus, Greninjas, Jigglypuffs, and Charizards. But other than that, I'm not really sure what else they could be used for

Let's just hope wave 4 doesn't have a bunch of exclusives like wave 3 did. Especially not for character's that have big fanbases. Getting Rosalina was a real pain, especially because she was only up for like 30 minutes! At least with the non exclusives, their preorders were available for a while, even rare characters like sheik and like.

Assist trophy amiibos would be awesome. everybody needs a ghirahim amiibo in their lives

Well, here's what I was thinking with that. Every time you scan an assist trophy amiibo in during a battle, they will appear to help you, just like a normal assist trophy would. However, you can only use them 3 times per battle, so that you can't over use them. You should also be able to give them equipment, and by using them in battle, they can level up to the max of level 10, to make them stronger.

I want a The Legend of Zelda amiibo bundle! Have no idea what it'd be for, I just wanna collect them and decorate my apartment with them:)

Maybe a Dixie Kong amiibo.

Weird that a Kirby clay (for Rainbow Curse) Amiibo line was not made. The trophies could easily be turned into Amiibos. Right now the safest bet is for the new 3DS Fire Emblem game, WiiU Zelda and Animal Crossing. Yoshi's Wooly World could use a small line of Amiibo, but I guess that since it's a budget title like Kirby, it won't be supported with separate Amiibo.

Or just starters etc which you can save the training of that pokemon onto. IT WILL MAKE TRAINING POKEMON PERSONAL AND THEY COULD ADD OTHER FEATURES TO IT AS WELL

I could also see a "Nintendo All-Stars" series years down the road as a way of re-releasing ones that have long faded out of the public consciousness. May Nintendo have mercy on your wallet!
