On one hand, I like that the Mario Party versions are a little bigger but they don't look as detailed as the Smash Bros ones. I think I like the Smash Bros ones better for all except maybe Bowser. I think his Mario Party one is a little bit nicer.
well the Mario Party ones don't have the plastic stand thing that I know a lot of people hate. I definitely like the Smash version of Yoshi better though because he's showing off his butt. I do like that the Mario Party ones look more classic and traditional and they're not in awkward poses like they are in the Smash Bros version.
The Mario Party amiibo wins it for me 3:1. I'm indifferent with the Bowser amiibo so I didn't count him and Mario does look cooler with that fireball.

I prefer the Smash ones for all of them except Luigi, and Yoshi is kind of a toss up as I like both equally for different reasons. All of them are stunningly nice, but fine details are what win me in the end. Although, maybe it's just favoritism speaking, because I have the Smash versions of all these amiibo but none of the Mario Party versions (besides Toad)...
Mario: Party - He just looks better. While SSB's has a cool fireball effect, I never liked how Mario's been portrayed as a angry guy since Brawl. He's a light-hearted, cheerful character!
Peach: Party - SSB's dress is certainly very nice and detailed, but her face looks slightly off compared to Party's.
Luigi: Party - No awkward pose or plank stand, 'nuff said.
Yeah I agree that Peach's face looks better in the Mario Party version. She looks a little off in the Smash one, like she's thinner than she should be or something. Yoshi's Mario Party one looks like he's about to do something he's not supposed to, like steal a cookie from the cookie jar and wants to make sure nobody's looking.
The Mario Party version of Mario reminds me of Big Boy.
Mario - Either one works. I think they're both good but I prefer the Smash version.
Peach - Party version. Smash's details are nice but overall like how Party Peach looks
Luigi - I have the Smash version right now but I intend to get the Party vers. at some point, as it looks better to me.
Bowser - Party version.
Yoshi - Doesn't matter. Both are good.

I have all my Mario Party amiibos on my desk at work (I keep the Smash ones on my entertainment center at my apartment) and I put the Rosalina smash bros one next to them at work and it looks so out of place because she's so small next to the rest of the Mario cast. She's smaller than the Mario Party version of Peach when she's actually supposed to be a lot taller than her. I'm curious to see what her Mario Party version will look like.

I like both Marios & Yoshis, but I like the Super Mario ones of the rest better, although Smash Bowser is okay I guess. Smash Bro Peach's face looks a little blorp and Luigi's crotch pose = no.

Only one I prefer the Smash version of is Yoshi. For the rest, the Mario Party versions have more vibrant colors and better poses. Perhaps it's just me, but I think standing up straight makes more sense for an amiibo than an action pose. Perhaps my stance would be a little different if the action poses were a little better.
