Topic: Detective Pikachu Amiibo

I preordered the amiibo to add to my ever growing collection and just thought it was a standard amiibo. So when it was delivered this morning, colour me suprised, this thing is huge. The comparison picture below doesn't do it justice but it;s at least three times bigger than a standard amiibo.

Waiting to pickup mine...but wish he had a detective shirt like in the game for the Amiibo that would make it look even better.

Got mine now and it's huge....but no jacket darn it...why do they do this to us....?? Having that jacket would make the cool factor go right out of the roof along with the scramble to collect it.

Yeah. Nothing can prepare you for just how big this thing is. You just have to see and hold the thing in person. I love the little touches on the base of the amiibo as well.

It's a bit annoying though, because they've just arbitrarily made an oversized amiibo for no apparent reason (and the workmanship on it isn't great either). I'm tempted to buy another one and keep it on my desk at work (I sometimes transcribe interviews at work involving Detectives, so it would be fitting).

I'm kind of sad that it doesn't work with Smash Bros, but it's still a cool toy to have.
