I wish there was a way to send Nintendo a message, but it would be great if they made a game specifically for amiibo that we can use all these amiibos we've been collecting with. Think a Skylanders game for amiibo.

I would be surprised if they weren't working on one right now (would love that btw). I guess beside the time to make the game, they also have to make sure you can get certain amiibo without too much of a hassle. If people were upset about not getting certain amiibo when they had little to no unique use in a game that's not Super Smash Bros, Imagine the reaction when it does become more useful.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

I'm really hoping they come out with one eventually.. I would LOVE a game like that with Nintendo IPs.

Amiibo figures are playable characters. Amiibo cards spawn a weapon. So you scan in a Animal Crossing Amiibo Card, the character appears in front of you and gives you a weapon lol

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I know they were against this, but... it would make all the sense.
I'm tired of just using amiibo for skins (and the occasional use of training them).

I've never played Disney Infiniti and have only watched someone play Skylanders once. What are those games like?

I hate games with mandatory figures. So if Nintendo made another amiibo game(it already made one for the Animal Crosssing amiibos)I wouldn't buy it,even thought I already own amiibos.

I really enjoy Disney infinity and I focus on the Playsets. It plays similar to those old Collectathon 3D Platformers. Skylanders (from the little I have played of it) plays a little more like a dungeon crawler where certain characters are needed to access certain optional areas.

While I wouldn't be against an Amiibo game, I do think it would be interesting if they just partnered up with DI or Skylanders to make all Amiibo compatible with their game. They could start out with just the Super Mario series Amiibo being compatible and through future patch updates they could add more characters. (time them with restocks of those characters)

My Ultimate Dream of an Amiibo game would probably be a Nintendo MOBA. Even then they could make Amiibo optional and let people buy characters without having the Amiibo. I would love to have a team of Mario, Wii Fit Trainer, Mewtwo, Marth, and Samus fighting against Mr. Game & Watch, Yoshi, Squid Girl, Tom Nook, and Dark Pit in a MOBA style game. Monolift did a pretty good job at a console MOBA with Guardians of Middle-Earth, maybe they could hire them to do it.

I think the most important thing to do is to try to make the game free to play. Trying to charge for an Amiibo required game leads to confusion. (like with Amiibo Festival)

I really don't get why people want a game that requires real life figures to play the game. Isn't that just trying to find a justification for having spent money on all those amiibo in the first place?

I wish Nintendo stopped locking exclusive content behind amiibo. I'd be willing to pay for DLC in some instances, but I have zero interest in spending money on plastic figurines to unlock stuff in a game.

It's hard to say what amiibo should do. I like some of the content they unlock, but at the same time Nintendo should offer an alternative (cheap DLC price?) for those that don't want the figurines. Heck, I remember them talking about cards as amiibos aside from Animal Crossing. Perhaps they could also make cards of characters?

What if (with the MOBA idea) you could buy characters without needing the figures?
