Topic: Amiibo collection section

Would be great if we could have a section on NintendoLife where we could put which Amiibo's we have as well as games, I'd like that

That would cost storage space and would you like to pay a monthly or yearly subscription so they could rent more cloud space to do that.

Cloud space takes money to rent so to say there isn't cost is misleading.

It would be just plain data in some database table. No need to use too much storage other than to keep a picture of each amiibo.

@Yosheel data takes up space considering how many NSW owners out there. That could start adding up.

I used to have almost every amiibo avalible at the time at one point, but I had to sell em back in the latter half of 2017 cause I really needed the money. Now I only have the Smash Bros. Mario & Sonic. Hoping to bulk my collection back up over the next couple of years though.😅

Then expect to spend more than when you bought them when they were at retail price. Selling the games you didn't play anymore would've been the smarter move instead. Those you can also buy back used for alot less. I rather sell the the games back as the Amiibo holds their value longer.

I have a bit too many amiibo for my own good. I own the entire SMO and kirby sets, along with most of the BOTW and Smash Bros sets. I also own a 4th of the splatoon and standard mario sets. If it counts, I also own the full Chibi Robo set, despite only having one amiibo in the chibi robo set to begin with.

I got the complete series in each Amiibo listing. And they are like over 200 of them that's alot and worth every penny. But if I sold the sets as complete that would command high price.

@the8thark I think he’s referring to a section on the user profile that could display amiibo collections, much like you can with games.

@the8thark probably because it doesn't related to the other topic and maybe when it does they might but as long as it doesn't conflict with the other they will let this stay until that time.

When I came into this topic, thought I was was going to rev up a lock, however, as others said, it's more about suggesting the idea of an amiibo collection on the user profile instead of another amiibo collection topic. I wouldn't mind such a feature, however, with the amount of Smash amiibo I own, would take some time to add them all, oof!
