Yup, I just secured my pre-orders about 20 minutes ago.
£65.94 pre-ordered directly from Nintendo (shipping included), as opposed to £89.94 from GAME.co.uk.
Interestingly they forgot to restrict these to one per customer like all the other items.
Looks like they may have gotten over stock issues or speculation is dying down: I had no issues going in a half hour after the announcement; with Jigglypuff and Olimar I barely squeaked in there minutes after the mail went out (and I note Olimar and other former dares are available again).
I still wouldn't mind getting the other Pokemon figures in advance of Pokken Tournament as I imagine there has to be some kind of amiibo support there. The question is whether or not you'll have to blow away your Smash data to use it.

Target got cleaned out fast! Managed to snag Pit Dr Mario and Gannondorf. Thanks for the tip! Right now it seems as if Targets website is slowly dying and putting others in cart is creating error strings.

edit: was able to get Dr. Mario and the Splatoon 3-pack (which means I now have an open Inkling Girl to unload). so that's something I guess. wonder how long it'll be until they restock any of these if they do at all :
...Screw it, I'll just point it out...it seems Amazon themselves are selling Inkling Girl for normal price. It says they won't get any in stock until the 5th of next month, though. I was gonna stay quiet until I try and reserve one, but...I'll go ahead and notify you guys.

for the Greninja release the TRU near work looked like a black Friday line. It was insane! Granted, TRU opened at 11 and all the other stores that sold amiibo had been open for hours, so everyone else must have come over there.
I am actually off that Friday, and debating if I should give standing in line a shot. I know I'll just end up pissed to find stores only have 4 each of olimar and ZSS.
The US restocks just seem damn odd compared to everywhere else, so my hope is Nintendo is prepping stock for the Christmas holidays here, instead of just being slack. I'm prepared to be disappointed, however.
