I hadn't checked out the Amiibo situation in Australia in person for a while. But damn. Stock shortages? What stock shortages. Walked into the shops and there were multiples of pretty much every Amiibo released thus far. Boxes of Amiibo just sitting there under the shelves untouched.

From memory I saw all of these in one shop:
Mario, Samus, Fox, Donkey Kong, Marth, Yoshi, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Little Mac, Bowser, Ike, Rosalina, Megaman, Meta Knight, Charizard, Ness, Jigglypuff, Greninja, Inkling Boy/Girl/Squid, Dark Pit, Palutena, Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, G/B/P Yarn Yoshi and all of the Super Mario series.....

@skywake that is awesome. If it weren't forthe crazy sspiders I hear about, I would love to visit Australia lol. Here in US, I still walk into many stores with near empty Amiibo selections where they only have a few Mario characters. Toys R Us has the best selection but none of the rare ones. At least scalper prices on the rare amiibo are coming down. My wife got me a Marth for $25 with free shipping, which isn't to bad in my opinion. I hope the US shelves will start looking like the Australian shelves soon.

How do the various Yarn Yoshi amiibo work in games other than Wooly World?
Do they function in the same way as Normal Yoshi amiibo?

Ordered Rosalina from target.com about an hour ago. I'm surprised it came back.

I managed to get the last Dedede from Gamestop yesterday, what a miracle! I work nights so it was a stroke of luck that the restock happened on my second day off, AKA the only day in the week that I'm ever awake in the morning. Now I have all 3 Kirby series amiibo!

I actually found a Ness amiibo at GameStop for MSRP price. Should I keep it or trade it?

Some stores in Australia are actually starting to discount some Amiibos. There's too much stock. Saw a picture on twitter of an EB Games store where they'd dropped the price on the Super Mario and Splatoon series Amiibo. For real.
