So, I'm a little ticked. I'd preordered the Ike amiibo and when I went on the release day I was told it hadn't come out. So I kept my preorder and decided to wait as I thought it was the shipment issues. Went to the the gamestop near my apartment and found out the darn thing actually came out on time. I called the store and luckily one of the SGAs was there and he told me they called everyone but me on purpose (because I'm an employee). This is after I got chastised (as in a 30 min convo peppered with emotional blackmail) for originally preordering amiibo at the store near me because it is within walking distance. Even though that isn't breaking regs. So now I have no way of getting the amiibo and my store manager pretty much lied to me so I wouldn't cancel the order. I'm requesting a store transfer this week. I've had about enough.

I tell the cashier that I'm here to pick up my Villager. She goes to the back to check. After about 5 min., she came out and told me THAT THEY SOLD IT TO SOMEONE BECAUSE I WAS TOO LATE. I DIDNT EVEN GET A TEXT! I called the manager, and we got into a fight about it. He decided to look all over the country for one, He calls, and tells me they found one in Mississippi. I was happy, and I told them I would never buy from them again. About 4 months have passed, and I haven't walked in ever since.
I feel like I'm the only person that prefers the smash to the mp amiibo... then again I'd like to see a wario one so he is in normal clothes.

I'm almost annoyed enough to go to HR about it. However my manager is trying to get promoted and he just had a kid... he at least has a reason for being cuthroat...sketchy as it is. If it were my primary job I'd be calling the DM but at this point I spoke to the manager at the store near me and she is willing to transfer me as she needs a Sunday person. It is only my third job anyway...so no sweat off my back...just really annoying. I'm sorry to hear about your situation though...it isnt supposed to be like that.

Mega Man is common where I live. I live in southern Indiana in the U.S., just so you'll know.
I'm torn over getting the Super Mario versions of Peach and Bowser instead of the Smash ones. Those Super Mario amiibo look even better now. The only thing I don't like is that they're so big. They would tower over the Smash amiibo I have in my gallery! But they look colorful too. They look better in those photos than in the official photos. It just comes down to style once again, but I am reconsidering now.
I live on the West Coast.... Eh, I really don't know if I want any of the Super Mario amiibo. I kinda like the Toad one, and I might be getting Golden Mario. I would like a Zelda line of amiibo. The reason? Tingle amiibo. That's my dream.

Yeah but how many amiibo's are there now - 36ish? They're not going to put all 36 amiibo's in a 30 second advert, that's less than 1 second per amiibo. It'd literally be flicking through amiiboS...

I know they're selling him standalone in other regions, but I was ordering the game anyways so the bundle effectively took the price down to $37 for Mario Party 10 if you subtract the cost of one Amiibo from $50 (Amazon had it listed for $10 less than MSRP a while back)

Finally got a Shulk imported from Japan and tbh it's probably the first amiibo I've got where I've been disappointed with the paint job. I could have just ended up with a bad print or something but I'm a bit gutted, as you can tell by the name I'm a big Xenoblade fan.
