Topic: Why eShop is not Gameboy Heaven?

LOL at people expecting Gameboy heaven after less than a month of the e shops existence.
Going off a little half cocked aren't we?
The 3DS shop is like wine. It'll get better with age.

It will turn alot better, It's only been around for what.. 2-3 weeks only? I personally REALLY want Cartoon Network Speedway and Mario Tennis on there. I would pick those up RIGHT AWAY.

My 2 favorite Gameboy games as a kid.

It'd be nice if we got some GBA games in the future. There were certainly some nice titles in that library.
Also, other than excitebike, will it recieve any other NES titles?

I think quite a few 3D Classics were on display at E3 2010. I'm sure we'll see at least the ones that were on display.

I think we're going to keep seeing the 1 good game followed by 1-2 disappointing games for a while because that's the only way that games like Alleyway will ever get noticed.

There is a bit of a silver lining in that we might see some really great games that never got the attention they deserved back in the day, like Shantae.

The Gameboy titles available so far, I am completely understatement the handheld. All my childhood assumed that the Gameboy can't be in the same league as the NES and SNES.

Yeah, it's the same with me. I always thought of the Game Boy Color as "that thing that plays Pokemon" when I was a kid, but Mario Land, Kirby's Dreamland, Donkey Kong and Link's Awakening have all blown me away with their quality. I'm pretty sure I've logged more hours playing virtual console than I have playing actual 3DS games.

I was raised on the Game Boy. I can happily wait for more GB titles later

because we got alleyway and tennis instead of SML2 and Metroid ll

Super Mario Land 2 and Metroid II will come eventually.

Not Gameboy Heaven? There have been 15 VC games so far. 14 of them have been Game Boy. The fact that Nintendo isn't releasing Game Boy Colour games and Game Boy Advance Games (outside of Links awakening and the 10 free Ambassador games) is more of a concern.

I'm just waiting for those Game Gear games....
Also, I want some SNES games. GIVE ME BATTLETOADS AND DOUBLE DRAGONS :@

It was developed by Rare. Which means you'd have equal chance of getting Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie and Killer Instinct on the Wii VC.

Cause Nintendo is slow. Look how long it took for VC on the Wii to get the right amount of games and most of the good ones. It's still missing many great games, many Nintendo made ones.

From what I've been hearing, contrary to what Nintendo is saying, some of those GBA titles we're getting as "ambassadors" will eventually hit the eShop. That would explain the rumors of Pokemon Emerald re-programmed to use the 3DS' Wireless Function(as opposed to the GBA Wireless Adapter) and Wario Ware: Twisted re-programmed to use the 3DS' Gyro-meter instead of the one that was initially built in to the cart.

I know it was made by Rare. Doesn't mean I don't want it. Plus, we've gotten a bunch of Donkey Kong games. Might get lucky

Rare made the Donkey Kong games for Nintendo. They made their other games for themselves which are now Microsoft's.

And I don't think Microsoft is up for sharing.

They made a lot of games "for Nintendo." I'm not saying there wouldn't be licensing problems, but it could be done.
