I think Nintendo knows exactly how much money they'd make off of any VC stuff...hence why it's no longer a priority for them. <_<

I don't think that is the reason. If they released any of the good GBA stuff on VC then it would destroy sales of pretty much all the mediocre download only junk on the eshop.

You got a better theory then? If it's it's so damn profitable, why aren't they putting even the smallest amount of effort into it? Why do they so rarely advertise it? And Why aren't they getting more developers onboard?

The cost of doing it would be next to nothing. There is no way it would cost more than it would make therefore there has to be another reason.

(You do it once correctly you can just pump the games out like D4 did with the Neo Geo. They could just get them to do it they are very good at it).

There is probably 50 GBA games I would rather have than any of the eshop none retail download titles that I don't have. They want 3rd parties on the platform because they don't produce enough games. (They only have one none Japanese studio - Retro). But they spend 82 million $ on worthless advertising. If they just looked back for all the Earthbound's i.e games that are priced extremely highly used and had about 20 most of that money that is currently not going to Nintendo would go to them.

What Capcom would do is dump the whole back catalog on in an extremely short period of time I am not suggesting doing that. Just put some stuff from before everything was dumbed down or in genre's they have no intention of making a new game in.

Maybe they don't have the skills in house but with the docs they are people who could do such a thing with not much effort. Transistive managed to translate anything to anything with about 5% overhead. (They did their own stuff and the translator for Mac OS X PPC -> X86). D4 are pretty good as well. (Wii Neo Geo - MSX on a chip).

If they need hacks in the emulator the emulator is not accurate hence not good enough. (They should have the best because they have the docs it is obvious).

I think it is maybe a bit more complicated than that though as Nintendo seems to use a variant of the model Disney uses for some of its classic films when it comes to rereleasing stuff. (And suffers from many of the same problems like high levels of counterfeiting / Downloads etc etc).

I would like to play a legal copy of Ninja Five-O that doesn't cost over a hundred dollars.

The GBA wasn't that far back into the past. The games are really modern too. I own a GBA myself and would much rather use it to play games like this than use a 3DS.

I have nothing really to say about myself.

Hmmmmmmmm, DS games to be announced for Wii U ... surely GBA now comes to 3DS? ?!? : D

When you think about it it really doesn't make ANY sense for GB and GBC games to be on 3DS VC but GBA aren't.

Sure it does. GB and GBC are Nintendo's first two handhelds after all. They are going to have priority simply because of their legacy.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I was referring to Nintendo saying they would never put GBA games on the eshop. Not the order of them being put on

the GBA rocked but let's be serious the best games were on the GBC with Pokémon TCG and Mario Tennis!

Nah man, GBA is where it's at. It was almost a portable SNES with games of all sorts. I still play my SP from time to time, but there are so many rare and expensive games I just can't afford. GBA on the 3DS VC would be ideal for me.

When and if they do, they need to have multiplayer support.

Considering the NES games have it, I sure as heck hope that so will GBA.

It would be great!

If they don't put gba games on the VC, they should at least put snes games. But still Gba games would make more sense cause they're part of the handheld line-up.

Yeah, but it's past ten years old at this point. DS games are barely ten years old, yet nintendo announced it for Wii U VC. (Now that's much more weird) I also prefer playing GBA games on my GBA SP, but it's nice to be able to have them digitally, of course with their multiplayer options.

I'm okay with whatever on Virtual Console. I didn't buy a new system specifically to replay old games
