I'd like them to stop releasing so many NES games and focus more on the handheld VC; GB/GBC/GBA primarily. I'd also love it if Squeenix would release their old Dragon Warrior games for the VC so that I can give them all my money.

I'm guessing they won't because they are inconsistent with modern localizations. The NES' Middle English (with its thees and thous all over the place) is probably too over-the-top while the GBC was too literal.
(also remember the NES versions required a lot more grinding)

I mentioned how I wanted more handheld games and less NES games on the VC; that applies to the DQ games I'd want on the service as well. There was no problem with the translation of the GBC games so I don't know what you're getting at.

Mario 3 for sure. Final Fantasy 1 would be fun to punish myself with.

Konami made it.

Good luck seeing it re-released.

They were very literal, compared to modern DQ translations that had more localization. More Ole English but not as extreme as the NES versions.
Also, more humorous enemy and spell names.

Any of the good TG16 shootem ups.

Magical Chase (TG16 or GBC)

Dragon Quest I&II / Dragon Quest III (GBC)

Crystalis (GBC)

The GBA Gunstar Heroes / Genesis Gunstar Heroes. (Never gets old).

Crisis Force (Famicom - Ideally as a 3D classic).

I would rather have literal translations it loses less. It is a Japanese game.
(Quite like even all your bases are belong to us type ones.)

But how would that affect them releasing the game at all? The style is slightly different to how it is now but its a VC release, and its not like people would have trouble understanding it anyway. I know what you're saying but it in no way would be a reason for the games to not be on the service.

I've never met anyone else who has played this game. I was disappointed because it was never released for the Wii VC but it would be great to have on the 3DS.

The first TMNT game was actually removed.

@Electricmastro
Yep. I could never get into that one, though. It was frustrating and somewhat difficult. TMNT II the Arcade game and TMNT III were loads of fun.

I played it back in the day and it was a good game. Just like the other user said, the first TMNT game was pulled from the Wii VC so it looks highly unlikely that TMNT 2 and 3 would be available to purchase and download. It really sucks because I would prefer to see those two games on the VC.

I wish Batman (NES) would be released but it won't because of similar issues.
