Feels like I'm talking to myself again, but...:p

Shake it! > 1 > 2 > 3

I have a massive feeling I'm going to enjoy '4' much more than 1.
16 bit, super bright and colorful graphics(When playing on the DS LIte that is), wonderful art direction, the bosses look enormous and cartoon-scary ect ect.
However, I'm going to lay low on WL for a little bit....Because as of now I'm a bit Wario'd out from playing WL2, then KI: 3D Classics in between and 'then' taking on WL3 right afterwords. It's always important to space franchises out considering when these titles were released they were years apart. :p

With that said, I could easily live without owning my copy of Wario Land 3(Doesn't exactly generate good gaming memories.lol)....Maybe even 2 depending.

Anyways! Seems like Shake Dimension, 4 and 1 are the best of the franchise. B-)

I'll still download both when they come to the eShop regardless.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Just to have the complete franchise on your 3DS i take it?
I'm not too sure I'm going to hold onto 3 for much longer. :p 2, probably.

Shake it!, 4 and 1? Hell yes. B-)

Oh and Bass, did you ever end up playing the terribly reviewed Wario: Master in Disguise for the DS(Apperantly Nintendo didn't develop this one)? And how's Wario World for the Cube?

I read Master of Disguise was bad so I didn't bother with it. I also never played Wario World or Wario Land VB.

Hmmm, I had Wario Land VB, but due to the killer eye strain that the VB gave me i honestly couldn't go past the 30 minute mark. Seemed like a good game annoying Black & Red graphics aside, with some pretty impressive 3D effects during the boss battles.

It would be pretty wicked if Nintendo decided to release it on the 3DS down the line as a VC title, I know I'd buy! B-) Seems like a complete no brainer idea to bring life into one of Nintendo's best forgotten titles considering the VB failed so miserably.

Nintendo should color Wario Land VB and release it as a 3D Classics game. That would be pretty cool.

For sure, either way I just want to beable to actually play it without my eyes feeling scortched after 30 minutes. :p
Also, just tossed WL3. It was a dissapointing experience for the most part, it felt like a bit of a chore and wasn't quite as fun as WL2 and it was pretty tedious overall. Hell, i was just playing both today for a few minutes and WL3 doesn't even look as good graphically, and the enemies are far less creative and interesting. It's solid don't get me wrong, but eh...I think it's a Wario Land not exactly worth experiencing. The final Boss twist I'll admit was pretty rad though. B-)

Will be downloading both WL1 & 2 though once they hit the 3DS VC just to have on there. WL4, which i also have on there i'm not bothering with. Considering GBA VC games look lowsy on the 3DS. Then again, GBA games on the DS Lite just look amazing, the colors are super rich and vibrant, the contrast is much better, and the screen is brighter. These GBA VC titles look the same as they do on the GBA SP resulting in a duller picture, plus the resolution/PQ itself looks worse when set larger.

Oh please no. The VB games were almost always terrible. Wario Land being the exception, but as I said before, I'm no WarioLand fan.
Also, if Nintendo announce VB games coming out on the VC, pushing back more GB/GBC titles, I think I might explode with rage. D:<

Japan's sure getting on with the Wario Land series. They're certainly very GENEROUS about releasing them all this soon, which is pretty ironic considering these are Wario games :). I'm still playing the foist one, so I'm in no hurry for the sequels, but I sure hope Wario Land 2's not far off from the EU Virtual Console, plus America should get Wario Land 1 soon too.

I've said this before, but I'm gonna explode from happiness when they finally release WL2, as that game's up there with OOT&Majora as my "best game of all time"! And I never played Wario Land 3, but it looks equally awesome, so I'm also craving for that, but I just wanna re-experience WL2 as soon as possible!

@Olaf-symbiote

Wario Land 3 definitly isn't equally awesome as WL2. Like somebody said, it seems like Wario fans either love it or hate it, i for one feel like it's 'alright' Definitly a solid platformer on it's own, but when stacked to the wario land games it just seems a bit lacking...It wasn't quirky enough, nor was it as original as 2 which it copied a lot from. To me it just felt like a bit of a chore..It just wasn't as fun as both Wl1 and 2.

Wow...Wario Land 4 actually surpassed my expectations and blew the lid off the Toadstool roof and then some. :o
Forget Wario land 1, this is the real deal as far as portable Wario Land goes. It's amazing how the transition from playing 3 '8-bit' WL gameboy games and then 'finally' the next gen 16-bit sequal/offering makes such a big impact.....It's like being used to playing 8-bit SMB1-3, and then finally jumping into the 16-bit realm(Visually, sound and control wise) > aka Super Mario world. :D WL4 insantly blew me away with the vibrant detailed and ultra colorful graphics and fantastic environemnts. The character animations are superb(Just wait until you see the bosses) and it just flows so much better than it did before.

Note, I'm not playing the GBA version on the 3DS...Which is the same thing as playing the actual GBA cart on the GBA itself....resulting in duller colors, weaker contrast and a not so bright/darker image.....BUT the bigger downer is that you get to choose from a sharper tinier wrist watch screen or a blown up fuzzy awful looking screen. Either way, GBA games are dissapointing on the 3DS, hell they're disspointing even on the actual GBA/GBA SP itself WHEN you compare it side by side to how amazing GBA games looki on the DS Lite. Gorgeous stuff....You get a super bright picture, vibrant vivid colors and fantastic contrast. A complete night and day difference, but I've mentioned this crap too many times before. :p

Anyways! WL4! Awesome stuff! I've completed the Emerald Stages & Boss, now I'm zipping through Saphire. If there's one little nit pick i can think of, it's probably the music. while nice here and there, it's not exactly 'Wario-ish' Instead it's a bit more soothing and funky....In ways even mildy simular to Shake it, if that. Shake it has the best score of the bunch no question. However, the 'escape the stage' music in WL4 is pretty memorable & amazing i've gotta say, easily my favorite track so far out of the few.

I know it's so early in the game, but i can already say i favor 4 over 1. :D

I really can't seem to like 4 too well for some reason. I don't know if it's because the stages require backtracking, or the fact that it doesn't feel like the original Wario Land that much. It's still a fun game, but it doesn't really interest me like the others.

I'm very excited about it; I love 4 and Shake It!, so I've always wanted to give the first three games a go. I just bought a cartridge for 3, so by the end of July, Wario Land 2 should be the only game in the series left on my "to-play list" (well, not counting VB Wario Land, but I'm not buying a Virtual Boy to play one game).
