The level where you have to carry the small bird back to the entrance or something....think it's the first level in the 2nd set of stages....
Basically there's purple blocks in my way, and i kinda killed all those enemies that get rid of purple blocks...HELP? doesn't seem to be anything i can do?

Go to a different room and then return to the area you were in. The enemies should have respawned, allowing you to throw them at the blocks again.

I've never been much of a fan of Wario platformers, partly because they're barely platformers, in the traditional sense.

Sure they are. What would you call them?

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I can't see how Wario could be anything but a platformer. I love it! I'll probably get crucified for saying this on a Nintendo forum but the Mario games are boring. They've not changed in the last 24 years I've been playing them. Wario on the other hand is an interesting character and the games have some unique ideas. I imagine a designer somewhere had a folder packed with stuff for a Mario game, which got shot down and turned in to the Wario games.

You'll get crucified if any fanboys are passing through - that's for sure.
Mario games havent changed much in the last 24 years, correct, but that's because they got a fun formula correct from the start. Despite the fat that the NSMB series is really dragging the series' reputation through the mud at the moment, I still love playing Mario platformers.
Havent you played Warioware? :O
I cant really explain why - but I dont like any of the Warioland games myself. I forced myself to spend time on all the first 4, and I hated all of them.

Y'know, I'm a Wario fan and all, but seriously. Nintendo NEEDS to release the titles to EVERYONE at the same time. I mean, if Japan is first, then that's fine; that's where the majority of the games came from. But it's really tiring to see that Japan, then Europe and everyone else but America get it at around the same time, and then the US gets it last about 2 weeks (or more) later. It's getting ridiculous, especially since the US has the lowest amount of Virtual Console games on the 3DS. Don't we matter too, Nintendo?

I'm not into wario but do like mario. I agree that Nintendo should release the games on the same day every where as opposed to other areas having to game sooner or later.

Release it on the same day every where & no body would complain. How could they when every body would be waiting for the same day to arrive the only thing a person could complain about at that point would be the game it's self whether or not the person liked or didn't like the game after they bought it.

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

So is this VC game worth buying? Seems like a resounding 'YES!" I usually buy them all anyways, but I'm behind, I didn't purchase Ninja Gaiden last week, only because I spent many an hour beating it as a kid. Not sure if I can go through all that madness again.

This game is excellent. Definitely better than 1 and WAY better than 3, IMO. I would wager this is the best game in the series to start with.

Just got this on a whim, never played it before (but I am a classic GB/GBA old skool game lover.) This is a fantastic game! Great sound, visuals, gameplay, level design, witty moments, you name it. Greatness achieved!

I'm liking this game, only I can't seem to figure out the purpose of all of this. Wario can't even die. Oh well. It's enjoyable regardless. :p

While I usually HATE no death games, this game is still hard, but with the intent of annoying you. If you fight a boss and take a hit, you get sent back. If you hit the wrong enemy you get sent back. It's more of a way to annoy the player more than anything else

I got this today, and I like it more than the first game. I enjoy Wario Land 4 and Shake It! and I've been wanting to try the earlier games for a while. I just didn't feel like playing the original much for some reason and it seemed tough to play. This second game does feel better, though, so there's still hope for the old titles.
