Huh, just realized that the Advance Shop is gonna be kinda weird. Hope they give us access to it, because it'd suck to not have the magic rings you but there.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
Soooo... Nintendo pretty much said the game's will still be able to link, didn't they? So GB multiplayer is possible then. Thought they would make a bigger deal out of that.

They said and showed that you did it through passwords. No Link cable, which was required for multi-player in other games.

So this must mean...Pokemon possibilities? :3
I wouldn't get your hopes up, these link through a password system not a link cable.

If it doesn't have it, it'll be no big loss. It's mostly just good for a ring that does nothing.

They did? I didn't see that. Ah. Oh well, at least you'll still be able to 100% the game.

I would really hope soo. I want to play through the original Red and Blue again!
Full disclosure, I love Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages (Majora's Mask is the only game in the series I hold in higher esteem) and, until the recent VC hype, they'd been almost lost in the greater Zelda conversation, so I'm kinda excited to see how newcomers react to them. The linked quest is what I imagine would happen if you injected classic Zelda with the super soldier serum.
I have been meaning to replay the Oracle series for a few years now - I actually tried to replay (almost) every Zelda in the lead-up to Skyward Sword and simply ran out of time before I could reach them. Maybe I'll dig out my carts on May 30th (if I don't just break down and buy them again) and play alongside everybody else.
@NImH - When they were released in Japan, each Oracle game was priced at 600 Yen individually but, for a limited time, they cost 1000 Yen total when purchased together. I think it's relatively safe to assume that NoA and NoE will both have similar offers next month.
I am thinking that I am finally going to get around to these games today, only question is does it matter which one I start with? Is one easier or harder than the other one?

I'm personally going with what the reviews said and starting with Ages.
Bought Seasons before I read the reviews, so I'm afraid I should have chosen ages instead. But it's a Zelda game after all, so I'll probably be more than satisfied with my Seasons anyway. Can buy Ages later on.
I got both. I never played through both of them all the way when they originally came out. I've been waiting and hoping Nintendo would bring these out somehow for the last year. And I believe with those two finally hitting the eshop that every Zelda game should now be playable on the current generation of consoles.

How did I get stuck on Ages again? The parts between the 2nd and 3rd dungeons aren't difficult to figure out at all. I did get stuck later at points though (decently challenging game here) and right now I'm trying to figure out what to do to get towards the 7th dungeon. Like I feel like what I'm doing with this one Zora character should work but it doesn't (btw: having the old NES Zoras with the new ones in the same game is weeeeeird). Also I knew about that dreaded dancing minigame, cheated using save states or whatever they're called on 3DS because I'm not wasting my time on something stupid (see also: me cheating ASAP on the final puzzle in 999). Other than the hardest difficulty it isn't THAT bad though.
It's a really solid game obviously but I get why it isn't a favorite among people. It's simply too slow imo and since the game is trying to be a bit more complicated and 3D Zelda like in terms of being EPIC!!!11!1, the 2 item limit is so annoying.
I'm playing Seasons, and am wondering if there are any underwater bosses (like the Angler Fish in LADX)?
The reason is, I ran into a glitch, and now I can't use Items in sidescrolling underwater segments. For some reason, pressing A gives me a boost in swimming speed (like what happens when swimming on the surface), and B won't do anything.
