just think, you could buy 2 shiny new 3DS games of your choice for $80.

If you're gonna pay $80 for old games, you might as well get the most value for your dollar. I think the ambassadors lucked out quite a bit.

I feel satisfied. I don't regret buying the 3DS on launch because of these games. (And even then, the only reason I'd regret it is because of the new color choices.)

Luckily, I had none of the GBA games and only a few of the NES games. So that helps.

I was not happy being an early 3DS adopter until last night. These 20 free games are quite a nice apologetic move by Nintendo. I'm still disappointed that they didn't announce the limited edition 25th Anniversary Zelda 3DS, because I would have totally waited for it.

I feel a bit guilty. I lost trust in Nintendo while we were waiting for the gba games specially...I should have known better. Its not MS or Sony we are talking about. Well, Ill keep that in mind now for eternity.

Regarding the ambassador programme at all: I think Nintendo got the exact feeling of their important customer (means first buyers, nothing more) after they have lowered the price. They offered us 20 games in return for the money we paid ´too much´. Since all of the games are available, we all can have a look to a very great addition to our home menu: to very great videogame titles! They gave us more back than just the money we paid ´too much´imo. Just look the home menu and feel the aura the games transfer. Its a very great feeling and all of the games are very great (possibly the best gba ever offered? Dunno, bc I didnt own one).

The notification system could have been used better and more often. A small status update, a small "Hey we are still working on the gba games", something like that for example. The ambassador application was pretty uselesx unfortunately. Well. Theyll learn to use the system more frequently on other software titles for sure.

After all I feel happy and a bit sad also, because all is over now. But our ambassador 3ds devices will tell others what our history was like. And we can do so also. To friends, to interested people, to anyone interested in a 3ds. We all have waited together to get the games finally, some lost trust in Nintendo on the way, some found it back, and possibly some are just upset from where all the games have arrived now

Grammar errors? We could use the german language instead of the english one of course - do you dare? ;)

All of you who are feeling guilty, I'm the one who should feel really guilty. Everyone will probably give me jealous glances after this... Y'know that competition back in March/April time on Nintendo Life? Well I won that competition to win a free Nintendo 3DS, plus 4 games... a few months later, Nintendo announce 20 free games.

I feel like such a bad person.

Competition: Win 1 of 3 Nintendo 3DS' & 4 Games with Ubisoft (UK)

If they re-release the NES and GBA games with new features the Ambassadors should get free upgrades to those games and get them early.

I'm satisfied with this. Not many other companies would do something like this. Many of them are GBA games I was planning on getting in the future for my DS so its saved me a lot of money.

Where to begin...

Well I wasn't annoyed in the first place. I likely wouldn't have noticed and knew I was supposed to feel cheated if they haven't told me. Still, it's lovely. I wasn't impressed before of their ability to handle things. They do a great job, don't misunderstand me, it's more me than them. While other people want fresh new games, I actually think I have a "fetishe" for playing "old" games on an new console. My main reason for loving the 3DS is the eshop. I have Ocarina of Time, and love it, but again..old in new package, love it!!
And it doesn't help for them to make lots of new games, I won't buy them just to get new games. I will buy Mutant Mudds because it reminds me of Wario Land.. You get the idea.. But release good games in eshop and you won't be able to blink before I have begun downloading.. I am also a bit of a Virtual Games Hoarder

So back to topic. As you can see, it's no way better for them to make me love them than doing this. I almost didn't believe my eyes, it was birthday, Christmas, and everything, at once!! I will not forget this... And I will try hard to not complain when it takes time for the great games to come to eshop, even though I don't always see the sale trick in it, because, eventually, it is no other company like Nintendo..

I have a fetish for playing old games on new systems too I buy every single VC 3DS game!

oh yes. i remember reading in a press release or on the e-shop that we get free upgrades when they patch up the NES games we already got. The GBA games are another story. Those were (from what I understand) a ONE TIME ONLY thing for us ambassadors. But I think Nintendo would be foolish not to release those GBA games to the public. They are some fantastic games!

I love Yoshi's Island! I can't believe this is the first time I've ever played it! Its just so fun.

Well, I feel guilty. My little brother got the 3DS for his birthday back in April and told our parents that they should get me one, too. So I didn't pay for anything, as if I didn't feel bad enough being 22 and my parents buying me a game system "just because."

On a side note, even if I bought it, I wouldn't feel cheated by paying the extra. I can't tell you why, but it's just one of those things I'd let go.
