...how would you like to see the poke transfer/pal park/whatever done? I'd like it to be done like this:
You'd still transfer pokemon between generations the same way, but now you'd only need one console. You'd press a certain button combination to change between which game you're currently viewing, and would port your pokemon forward that way. I'd hope pokemon ruby/saphire/emerald (maybe firered/leafgreen) have come to the Virtual Console service and as long as it's on the SD card it would work in pokemon pearl/diamond/platinum like a dual-slot mode, so you could continue transferring pokemon into the recent/future generations.

I only desire Red & Blue and the trading card game. The rest? Were too lame or are (or remade) on DS.

I wouldn't be happy.
I'm still waiting for a Ruby and Sapphire remake.

I'd like to see every GB/GBC Pokémon game on VC and I'm pretty sure that they're bringing at least spin-off games like Pokémon Pinball.
@TwilightPoint: Wouldn't you take Ruby 2 and Sapphire 2 instead? I personally don't see point in remakes anymore as they finally decided to start making sequels using the same region instead of always making the third installment with little changes and then advancing to another region and more Pokémon.

I'd like to see no transfer of Pokemon between games, and only local trading if that.
All this fuss is just preventing the games from even coming out, and the fun of the games doesnt only rely on multiplayer and keeping your old Pokemon.

I make Pixel Art on occasion.

Given the frightening ahem Lavender Town in the Red and Blue games, it's pretty unlikely Pokemon Red/Blue for the original GameBoy will really make it to Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL, unless they modified the game to enlighten Lavender Town and replace the cough cough Pokemon Tower with the Radio Tower. On another note, who needs the classics when you have the ol' play style of the new games?

I love Nintendo. Although there is not one Nintendo system in my family, I really wish I could get a Wii U this year. I have had great times with previous Nintendo systems and I'm sure everyone here can relate. In the meantime, I'll be looking at news and trying not to be too much of a nuisance. :)

Lavender town is NOT a bad thing at all. You'd have to be stupid to be scared of that place.

The sole reason Pokemon can't get to the VC in it's current state is the lack of multiplayer, and that stupid clock in GSC. I know they can be played without it, but it'll sorta takes away the best part of gen I. Mew is not a concern because it wasn't important in the GB saga AT ALL. Wait until the new multiplayer featue gets added to the rest of the world, and then Pokemon will probably come. Whining over it will do nothing.

Even if they cut the trade system I don't see it as a big loss, I already have Pokemon Blue and Yellow on my Gameboy Color with no way to trade between them (unless using the Gameboy Advance SP multiplayer cable works).

I think it became even more obvious to them when Link's Awakening came out on 3DS.

Nintendo would have to include GB link cable connectivity in a 3DS update before they could release Pokemon

If they changed it that drastically, people would be very annoyed, I presume.

Also, Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver/Crystal may not be as advanced, but there are a couple reasons people may want them on the VC. Perhaps their cartridge's battery died and they can no longer save on their Game Pak. Maybe someone would want to play the original games to see what they were like. Still others would buy it just to have it on their 3DS. (Like me.)

It's not what's scary is that the original Lavender Town theme from Red and Green was modified in later versions because there were high pitched areas of that song that caused headaches and such.
