Topic: Square Enix needs to release there virtual console games

Okay who here thinks that square enix needs to release their virtual console games on 3DS?

Not just 3DS but Wii U, too.

What is there really besides Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior?

There's a ton that hasn't been released on VC yet.

For GB/C:
Final Fantasy Adventure, Final Fantasy Legend 1/2/3, Dragon Warrior Monsters 1/2
NOTE: FF Adventure and Legend were only called FF in the west to sell copies.
Adventure is the prequel to Secret of Mana, and the Legend series is actually the SaGa series.

SNES:
Terranigma, 7th Saga, Illusion of Gaia, Soul Blazer

Chrono Trigger, The Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG.

They already have but just not outside of Japan.

Sega also need to start releasing VC games

Front Mission, Robotrek oh and while we are wishing, they could put European versions of The Secret of Mana 2 and Star Ocean up while they are at it!

I've scratched my DQ itch with DQ monsters for GBC. as for FF, meh. nothing good as of lately.

A lot. Belive it or not, there was actually a time when S-E put out a lot of good games that weren't just Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy...

The only games I'd expect out of them are the four Game Boy "Final Fantasy" games.
S-E said DQ7 is unlikely for the west because of the massive localization effort needed, and (probably heeding off anyone suggesting a copy-paste effort) suggesting the PS1 translation would no longer be up to quality standards.
Which implies they probably wouldn't want to re-release the GBC versions of the DQ games. Those stuck to the Japanese scripts pretty literally, I think. (so would probably be even less desirable than the Jam-Packed Full Of Ye Olde Englishe NES games)

I believe Enix was foremost a publisher than a developer so a lot of "Enix" games were actually made by other developers.
ActRaiser, Robotrek and the SoulBlazer trilogy were made by Quintet, Brain Lord and 7th Saga were by Produce. E.V.O. was by Almanic.
Ogre Battle is perhaps thought of as an Enix game because they published the English version of the original, but it so happened they would get full rights to the game because at one point Square bought out the original developer, and then Enix merged with Square.
(though they haven't fully utilized that ownership by rereleasing Conquest of the Crystal Palace. )

7th saga was a great challenging game

Seiken Densetsu 3 is unplayable to those who can't read Japanese and they won't translate it for a VC release.

Are you sure? I can't read Japanese, but I have certainly played it...

I find most mana games unplayable even when they're in English. :T

There's quite a bit they could be putting out there aside from Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest games. Square and Enix actually used to be good companies once upon a time.
