I looked and looked for a thread for this but did not see one so here we go.
Downloaded this game a day ago and so far it's the only thing that's got me off of Animal Crossing New Leaf at this time for the past week.
I've played this before on Sonic Adventure DX but wasn't real fond of it then (probably played the game on the GG at some point in my life too), but now that I'm playing it on the 3DSXL, for some reason it feels so much better then I remember. I'm in the third zone right now (at work so it's saved there) with 2 emeralds and I'm loving it actually.
Anyone else got this or getting it?

Yep, one of my favourite 2D platformers of all time, and usually I don't like Sonic games. My friend recommenced the VC release of the Master System version just over a year ago to me, and I'm glad he did.
He also recommended Sonic 2 MS, but I don't want to derail this thread too early with my strong thoughts on that game...
