I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD

Well, I would've preferred that we got Punch-Out!! instead of Metroid, which probably would've been better to get as Zero Mission, but overall I'm pretty happy with the list. I think I've only played a handful of these games before, so they should be pretty good for a free present.

Zelda II is way too hard and a waste of time! It doesn't even feel like a real zelda game for crying out loud!

@ PntjrZelda 2 can still be fun If you give it a chance. Yes it feels different but that doesn't make it a bad game.Just misunderstood. Kinda like how some didn't like Majora's mask. Believe it or not both of those games have their fans.I'm one of them.

Apparently Japan has already gotten their NES games on the eShop.

Playing these Nes games on the 3DS for a few minutes or so should be fun for kicks. But idealy, these games are ment to played on a console, on the big screen. It's an oddity to have Nintendo 'out of the blue' release NES games on the 3DS.....It would be like releasing Gameboy games on the Wii's VC. Doesn't exactly mix if you know what i mean.
if the GBA games have wonky inferior scaling, i'm going to pass on all of them, and just get the cars off eBay based on the ones i wan't. I'd rather have some free eShop cash for Gameboy/GBC and 3D Classics downloads instead of the free 20 games. But oh well, still kind of exciting I guess.

I've read a few forums where people claim the games are already available.Even in the America! Aparently they've started giving them out early.Everyone better check this out just to make sure!
331. Posted: Wed 31st Aug 2011 19:21 BST
Yep, all the NES games are available in America & Japan. Downloaded mine earlier!
So far, I really like Yoshi, Super Mario Bros., Metroid, Zelda, & Zelda 2 the most. Though Wrecking Crew is a little fun and so are Ice Climbers & Balloon Fight. Donkey Kong Jr. is OK. I think the only one that I don't care for (at the moment) is the NES Golf. Nice graphics, but the gameplay is so-so.
I'm looking forward to when the games update with the Restore point feature & the multiplayer. I doubt I'll get too far on Super Mario Bros, Metroid, and the Zeldas until the restore point feature is added. lol. Still, its really fun to have these games.
I hope Europe gets them soon. A bit unfair to give them to us & japan and not Europe.

Got my games this afternoon. Some of the NES games are too dated for my taste.
Why can't Metroid crawl?

I actually like Zelda 2 more than the first one. I find it easier to figure out what to do next. Zelda 1 is a little too slow for me.Too each their own I suppose.

True, so until we learn the identities of the other 5 GBA games, this thread shall remain unlocked (hopefully)!!!!

Why is everyone so quick to ask for threads to be locked, anyway. It's just extra work on the moderators to hunt down threads that may have answered the original question and lock them, and it's not like they see every comment. If you post asking them to lock, chances are they won't see it, at least not for a while. But I don't get why a "finished" thread needs to be instantly locked, anyway. When the conversation is over, it will die, and the thread will bury itself.
This thread, for instance, after the GBA games are announced, it will continue for a bit while people praise the choices, bash the choices, lament over what was left out, and shout in anger that the games are so great, but because they're not an ambassador, they'll never get them. Then, when all the responses to the announcement are in, it will die down until the games are released, then kick back up for more of the same, and then die out for good, never to be seen again. Why all the hurry to lock it now and prevent conversation?
