Don't think we'll have any GBA games any time too soon though...

I hope we get all 10 NES games on September 1st, or it's going to be pretty unimpressive if we only get 1 game per week and half of them we aren't even interested in. I think if they weren't going to be released all at once, they would have said how they were going to be distributed by now, but I was also expecting to hear what all the NES games were by now too.

Wow. People complaining over 20 free games. Because they don't get them right now.

lol I'd be fine without the 20 free games, it's insane how many people there are bitching out there....You should of checked out the IGN comments section the day it was announced. Sometimes no matter how decent or sweet the situation is people just love to complain. I for one don't care if they're spaced out and what have you. 20 free games 'insantly' is overwhelming and hard to digestO.

Again, I'll only mildy complain if GBA games are scaled and blown & blurry looking or too small while being crystal clear. I'll most likely get the actual carts online and play them on my DS Lite instead. Playing NES games however on the to go shall be pretty neeto' but at the same time it just doesn't feel right considering they're 'console' games.

With the planned down time on the eShop, I wonder if we'll see the shop itself get a facelift to coincide with the roll out of Ambassador games.

I do hope we get all 10 of the NES game right away. But seeing as we only know about five thus far, I can see them only releasing those five at first and then wait a little to release the other five.

@19Robb92 You got a point there. One might think they'd announce all ten by now seeing that they will be released on thursday. I'm still hoping we get all ten, though.

If anyone has a right to complain, us 3DS early adopters surely do We, who shelled out an extra $100 in some cases for a system that has gone down drastically in price. Sure, they are giving us free games, but if they didn't, some of us probably wouldn't still be here.

Being a huge retro NES fan I am totally stoked about the upcoming NES releases One of my favorite classic games is Ice Climber and I can't wait to play that on my 3DS I also hope we get Minish Cap as part of the GBA games coming out later in the year. That would totally make my 3DS a worthy purchase. I own the original on my old GBA but it's in storage and I can't find it at the moment. LOL

I called Nintendo on my way to work this morning, and the rep (who was a bit rude, probably tired. It was 6:30 AM after all) said all 10 games were coming on Thursday. Takes that for what it's worth.

Bit of a shame the only way europeons will know if they're an ambassador is if they get the games on thursday. Would have been nice to know in advance.

I'm fairly positive I'm an ambassador though, since I was in eShop many times and have downloaded the update.

I bought it at launch, and I find it hard to complain about this stuff. I've gotten a lot out of the system in these five months regardless of the price tag. Would early adopters still be complaining if Nintendo hadn't dropped the price? We would be in the same situation, but without these free games and poor hardware sales for Nintendo. I honestly don't see the logic in that.

Except for the fact that Nintendo still doesn't owe you anything. They could have dropped the price and given early adopters nothing.

I'm just glad we get a portable version of the original Super Mario Bros. Now I can wake up to my Mario clock, play a few rounds of Mario-themed pictobits, and then instantly fire up the original NES game.
