@Oddy i tried transferring games from my 3ds to my brothers and it didn't work. i was scared when we did it because i thought it was formatting my sd card! i would be so pissed if it did that. but it didn't and i dont feel like risking it again

I really hope the GBA games will be released to the public sometime down the road. I could not afford one in time to get the free games.
Given Nintendo's history, they probably will release the GBA games in some sort of holiday event. They say that they have no plans to release now, but they will. That's cash in their pockets that would be silly to pass up
Yeah, I see no reason why they wouldn't release GBA games on the eShop.
I feel like they will eventually release the GBA games to the general public sometime too. I think the "we have no plans to release them" thing was really just to get ambassadors more excited and to get people to buy a 3DS before the price drop. Color me surprised if everyone isn't seeing GBA Virtual Console games by February.

The big IF with the GBA titles being held back to us early buyers is when and IF they feel the time is right. I would guess at the least a year down the road or more so people like us don't feel burned by the price drop and so their apology sinks in. It would be amazing to think they'd hold them down permanently as the 1/2 we know now would likely see pretty large sales. Maybe it will be a year, maybe two or three, maybe some holiday gimme or some anniversary prize on a few of the most notable. It's all guesswork.

This. Also, not everyone has played all, some, or even any of the NES games, so while this may not mean much for you, for many of us they're a welcome treat. Also, why have a game tethered to a home console when you can have the same experience on a portable for free?
