Hoerig	1. Posted: Fri 23rd Nov 2012 02:27 GMT Seriously lets be realistic here. It has been close to 2 years that the 3ds has been released, and no Pokemon virtual console games. Pokemon first gen is what basically defined the original gameboy. I bet if you ask anyone who had the original gameboy they would have had a pokemon game. Is Nintendo waiting for something, or are they worried about the connectivity issues required to "catch them all". A solution would be not to release Pokemon red and blue and just yellow version. preferably 3d classic. Anybody agree?

Even though I don't play or watch pokemon I had the yellow version pokemon GBC, red & blue as well to see the difference between the games in game play & to see what all it got into back then & as seeing as how they keep making the pokemon games for newer consoles like ds, 3ds it's pretty much been on every handheld didn't know to many people who didn't play the games. Almost everyone I knew had some sort of pokemon game in school years ago. Nintendo releasing Pokemon red, blue, or yellow should sell extremely well & that's coming from someone who doesn't even like the series. I can tolerate pokemon to an extent to be blunt. Connectivity is a point, and so is price (It should be higher than Pokedex Pro, which is $15), and possibly data size, but I'm not sure that affects anything, just seems a main-series Pokemon game is larger than any other VC game I've seen. I doubt we'll see any main-series games anytime soon, especially before some spin-off ones that are much more applicable like Pokemon Snap.

Yeah, but GB tetris did not DEPEND on multiplayer to 100% the game, while as with pokemon, you need a copy of blue or red (opposite of what you have) to get the 100% ranking. Mew doesn't count and there is a glitch to get him anyway so he isn't a problem, but still, it wouldn't be Pokemon without multiplay. Pokemon pinball has a high chance of appearing as it had no multiplayer.

Maybe not in the UK or US, but keep in mind back in Japan, when this game came out, it's main catch was the multiplayer trading, and removing that would actually cause a bigger uproar than you would think. If you just wanted to get the other pokemon, you could buy a cable, but if it was on 3DS VC, you couldn't even do that. So I don't think it would happen, otherwise Pokemon stadium 1 and 2 would be out by now.

Just recode the coding to play on a handheld with different contols, add a 3d code and wireless battle/trading code and voila!! even if there are some gliches release an update data. The main point is: WE WANT IT NOW NINTENDO,MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!

The main point is: WE WANT IT NOW NINTENDO,MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!! The thing is, it's a VIRTUAL CONSOLE game. They aren't going to release it with changes unless it's to fix the multiplay. And also, keep in mind that Nintendo didn't put up pokemon stadium on Wii VC for the same reason, so that may mean we won't ever get the main games. No big loss, honestly, since the newer games are way better and the spinoffs are likely to be on VC.

Posted: Mon 10th Dec 2012 03:18 GMT Because why re-release the old ones, with the old bugs and different Pokemon stat and battle system when you can rerelease them in the newer engines, compatible with the newer games? Not only will they ensure full compatibility, but they'll sell to the people who played the original games (Blue, red, Gold, Silver etc) and the newer generation who weren't around until Gen3 onwards? Seems to me that it's just good business not to. You're narrowing your userbase.
