I am sure there's something in the works. You know you can always contact Nintendo.

Unfortunately I'm not a good observer, this update does nothing noticeable to the game from before, and is nothing like the update for SMB last week.

I think the only game to get an update was SMB and that was cause of Nintendo making it available to everyone now.

I'm guessing each NES game will get an update as it gets a public release on the eShop.
I keep these Nintendo Life threads updated: Missing 3DS VC and Wii U VC between regions, Full of list first party Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Gear games missing from the 3DS VC, and Full of list first party Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Wii games missing from the Wii U VC.

Nintendo mentioned waaaaaay back when the Ambassador program was first announced, that full updates for NES games, which would give them Restore Point functionality, full instruction manuals, and probably some other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head, would come when the games were released onto the eShop. So, when a game gets released (I'm thinking one every other week or something like that myself), they will get updated. Just be patient; the updates will come eventually.

Mario, Metroid, and the 2 Zeldas (maybe D.K. Jr.), are the only ones that really need a restore point, anyway. I suppose you could use one with Balloon Fight, but that would ruin the high-score driven arcade experience that the game posesses.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

They do have updates. Go look them up

They may have updates but not the ones that change the home screen icon and give them restore points - that's what people are talking about.
I make Pixel Art on occasion, and sometimes sell them as Game Assets.
Help bring Dragon Quest back to the West, so we can all resume having fun. :)

Yeah, I'd love to get a updated home-screen for all of them. The GBA games should also get one.
Looking forward to: ZeldaU & Hyrule Warriors

Well the GBA games are exclusive for Ambassador Units.. So will they never be updated?

I just checked, and it appears the other nine games have updates. However, after updating The Legend of Zelda, it appears that this batch of updates is not comparable to the treatment SMB was given a few weeks ago.

I'm personally hoping for Punch-Out!!, followed by NES Open Tournament Golf. The former because I REALLY want to play it, and the latter so I can get the update to get the full instruction manual so I can finally know what every setting does.

Apparently Zelda 1 is coming this week in Europe to non-Ambassadors. Not seen any official confirmation though.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
