Puzzles I guess, lol. I didn't think they would be that different though.

Ages is supposed to be more puzzle and story oriented and Seasons certainly includes thougher monsters and more straight foward action with a basic plot to justify it.

Anyone else noticed the official site has the Maku Tree from Ages with the information about the Maku Tree from Seasons under it?

Hence,
Puzzles/Story = Nayru = Goddess of Wisdom

Action/Difficulty = Din = Goddess of Power

I downloaded both today. I've never played Seasons but I've beaten Ages once. Despite that, I'm going to replay Ages first (because I just loved it so much) then play Seasons. xP

@Joshers744 - I don't own a 3DS XL. That's the original black model. Holding START and SELECT while loading Gameboy games causes the border to appear. Same for SEGA Game Gear games.

Is this option gone from the XL model???

Just tried it and it worked! Cool! but I probably wont' use it since it made the screen small.

That is one disadvantage. It does make the screen smaller.

However, one cool thing about it is the red button on the Gameboy Color border actually goes more dim as your 3DS battery begins to drain over time. Pretty cool simulation of something that would happen IRL with the actual GBC.

Also, the border is 3D and the depth can be adjusted with the 3D slide.

I think I'll be getting Ages first. I am a sucker for time travel stories (Chrono Trigger FTW!!!!), but I will probably pick Ages before the price goes back up. Oh and I really prefer the blue versions of these bundled games (Blue FTW!!!!)

Formally Square-enixFan, Neo-GeoFan. A lover of fine games and handheld systems!!!!!!!!!!
The New 3DS XL is amazing, soon the NX will be upon us!

With the Game Boy frame, I find that the picture quality is much better.

I gotta try that sometime. xD
Never really bothered with it before because I prefer the bigger image...but a 3D border sounds cool, lol

Is there a way to access the Advance Shop in the VC release? If not, the game can't be 100%ed, since a couple rings can only be obtained there. So yeah... Does anyone know if that shop is accessible somehow?

Feel free to add me on the Nintendo Network: ShadJV

Ugh I keep trying to change the size of the screen with L and R like I used to do with the GBA.

About the rings, considering they're nothing special and they're impossible to obtain, I think you're better off not counting them towards your 100%. It's not like they were hard to obtain or some kind of achievement, they are completely useless.

The door to the Advance Shop is closed in this version.
