Topic: Oracle of Ages or Oracle of Seasons ?

Anyways 3rd dungeon done with...off to the next one....tomorrow, because I'm too tired to think, lol

I finished 3rd dungeon in Ages yesterday. I was stuck for quite a while in the dungeon. Fortunately I found out what I did wrong eventually.

Which one is better to start with? Is it really worth it playing both twice to see what changes between a regular game and a linked one?

Supposedly Seasons is easier to start with, so that's what I went with.

I haven't decided whether to play both twice yet. I've heard after you beat the linked game, then there's a hero's quest where you can play to finish collecting everything but that doesn't have the changes of the linked game. I'm wondering whether it's sufficient to just do Seasons unlinked, Ages linked, and then play the hero's quest on Ages to get the equivalent experience of playing it unlinked and try for 100% completion.

Well, the best way to "complete" them would be playing...

1- ages1-seasons2 with Moosh.
2- seasons1-ages2 with Ricky.
3- ages/seasons1-seasons/ages2 with Dimitri in hero mode.

You can switch the first two and change the animals around. That way you'll see everything in the games.

Finished dungeons 4 and 5 in Seasons...is it just me, or are they a lot easier than the earlier dungeons in that game?

Also dungeon 4 has incredible music. That is all.

I think the music is really the only reason I play Zelda games.

I thought Seasons was supposed to be the harder one, lol

Is it really worth it playing each game thrice to see everything? :s

I noticed that in the first temple in seasons that it had 3 rooms similar to the nes Zelda's first temple....and the same boss.

Well that's up to the person playing, not me. But if you want to see everything, you must play the games three times, or save before getting a flue and quit at the right moment to reload and befriend a different animal, just to see the changes in the area without making it permanent.

Keep going...you'll see a lot more.

Season's is my preference, honestly.

Man these color-based puzzles keeps reminding back when I went through the Color Dungeon for the first time in Link's Awakening DX.

I picked up Seasons, because I never played it when I was younger. I owned Ages, yet never finished it. I am just not sure if I wanna buy Ages now at $5, or wait till I actually beat Seasons to pick it up.
