When do you think we'll be getting them? I already have Link's Awakening, and want a 3DS equivalent. I've never played the Oracles before.

I own Oracle of Seasons, but am yet to find a copy of Ages. I hope we get them soon on the eshop, and really want Nintendo to make the 3DS remake of Majora's Mask!

I have the carts, and i have been wanting to replay them for a while, but have held off in anticipation of their release on VCH. I imagine it'll be a little while, though.Plus, i really should get around to finishing Skyward Sword
She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong. Also, Lindsey Stirling. Because violin awesomeness.

I think the better question is: why wouldn't we get them? What is there to stop Nintendo from releasing it on the 3DS VC?

I'm guessing they shouldn't have too big of a license problem, but I do recall Ages and Seasons were originally in development by Capcom until Nintendo kinda hijacked them.

I surmise that if Nintendo can get Capcom to loosen the strings and allow these to be republished, Wayforward will be able to do the same with the original Shantae.

I haven't played Oracles games either but I have played Awakening DX. I have really enjoyed it so I would totally buy those games if they released them on the e-shop.

I really loved both Oracles Seasons a tiny bit better, but both are great! I'm curious how or if these games when avaliable for 3DS dowmload if theres will be some sort of option like with the original cartrages to be able to get to the final Ganon boss level if you have both and how that would work?

I look forward to downloading them both. Nintendo Power always said that they liked Seasons a little better than Ages. I believe Ages emphasizes puzzles while Seasons emphasizes action.

Nintendo owns the game, not Capcom. Remember that the game uses the same set up and engine as Link's Awakening DX. Capcom's more than likely not holding Nintendo back.
Also keep in mind that Minish Cap was released for free to ambassadors.

...So, are they like...the same game or something? I mean...are they like how two Pokemon games come out and they're basically the same with some differences? Or like, different stories/dungeons/whatevers, lol I dunno. xDAnyways I hope they release the two soon.
I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...
Yet Another Update: Also Amber and Xiao Pai from Rune Factory 4.

Yeah, I actually asked about the games on Capcom's site, Nintendo owns the rights to the game since its their series...so it makes sense that they'll have the say on when to release the games.

The stories of both go hand-in-hand, but the dungeons, characters (aside from the main ones), and the worlds are different.
