Like most of you reading this thread, I've been spending the past few days enjoying my GBA Ambassador titles. However, one thing I don't like about them is that they don't have an instruction manual, physical or electronic, included with them. While the games I've played so far have either included in-game tutorials highlighting what each button does or the controls are easy enough to figure out with very little trial and error, and I'm sure the other games I've yet to play will be like this as well, does anyone know somewhere where the manuals for these games are online, preferably one I could view on the 3DS's Internet Browser?

So Nintendo just released lazy ports, and didn't even bother to include a digital instruction manual? Figures. All the other 3DS software (including Virtual Console games) has digital instruction manuals. Heck, even DSiWare has in-game instruction manuals!
Just highlight the game from the home menu and tap "manual" in the bottom left corner of the screen.
But he just said they don't come with manuals.
Well, I didn't notice they came with them on the home menu; I kinda presumed that, because they didn't offer Home Menu functionality like just about every other eShop download, they didn't have any. My mistake; thanks for the info, @keef!

So when you press the Home button while in a GBA game it just shows a black screen? The GBA games are part of the Virtual Console service; things like save states, restore points, etc. are standard features. Nintendo probably just slapped together the GBA emulator and called it a day, without even optimizing the games for the 3DS.
When you highlight the game on the HOME Menu, in the bottom left hand corner of the screen it should say "Manual", this is on every single GBA and NES title.
@tendoboy - It's actually worse than that, if you can believe it. Hear me out all the way on this one, though. If you press the Home Menu button, instead of bringing up the home menu like with eShop/3DS stuff, or even the DS(iWare) method of freezing the action, bringing up a black screen on the top screen and the "you sure you wanna exit outta this?" option page, it nulls the controls, brings up the exit warning page and leaves the action going on the top screen. No VC functions or restore points. Is it lazy as f*** and fairly annoying? Yes, but it's not a deal breaker. It just means you have to be more careful with what you're doing while playing the GBA games. Will this be improved, along with DS and DSiWare games to the point of full VC functions like anything else designed specifically for the 3DS? Let's all spam our CN surveys with these requests and hope that Nintendo pays attention.
